[Oh, well, actually, there's a perfectly good reason he's in a pillow fort: the Almighty wished it. She's wearing a flying squirrel kigurumi, lying on Her stomach, kicking Her legs. And Her legs are short, mind you—She is small in form and this makes pillow forts even more delightful—so she manages not to disturb any of the blankets draped across the top of this thing. Her chin is in one hand; the other hand is pushing a bag full of frosted animal crackers towards Bartleby. You know, those classic pink and white ones. Ben, or Kylo as he preferred to be called these days, couldn't help but notice the pillow fort now spanning the extent of his parent's living room. It was quite a piece of work! But then again, his little cousin never did anything half-way.

Unfortunately, if he wanted to get to his room, he was going to have to make it to the other side.

[He's worked pretty painstakingly at this. It's taken him practically all day -- he was having particularly bad luck and kept messing it up or collapsing it from the inside or tripping over one of the chairs used as a wall. Finally he gets it set up, though, couch cushions and bedsheets as a structure and a sleeping bag on the floor to actually hang out on. He's got his laptop, and a power bar for both it and their phones. It's a pretty sweet setup, actually. He's kind of proud of himself.

It had occurred to him a few days ago that he did, in fact, have some ways to explain the way his home universe worked. Outside of letting her into his dreams again, Normie had given him some movies that were relevant to his own experiences, and Sora's. The films Normie had provided him with weren't necessarily related to him more than tangentally, though, and so Riku had gone on a hunt, collecting up whatever Disney movies he could find featuring people he recognized. So today, next to the laptop and some snacks he'd gathered, he's got the stack of DVDs from Normie, and on the laptop itself, a folder full of movies he downloaded.

Riku's not actually in the fort just yet -- he's sitting outside on the steps, actually, waiting for Aerith to show up. He opened a door for her, so she doesn't have to deal with the porter, and so left her a coat awhile ago, too. It's almost nightfall, which is a good time to be watching movies, he thinks.]

Matt hasn't actually done any building. One of the consequences of blindness is the inability to engineer forts, and Danny is really more of the expert on this. But he does get to reap the benefits. He sits crosslegged on a mound of pillows littering the floor beneath him, imagining what it all must look like. It's pretty fantastic in his head.
