OOC sort of meme proposal

Okay so... A lot of people in the ooc type memes say they are open to crosscanon CR and/or shipping. However very rarely do they ever get specific, and crosscanon and crossmedium memes usually don't get too much traffic.

I know a lot of it can stem from the nervousness of not really knowing if the other player knows your character/likes them/whatever worries they might have...

So I have been thinking of doing a meme specifically to try and find and set up cross canon stuff.

Like instead of just saying 'Yes I am open to it' the point would be to specifically say the characters or types you are interested in.

You could say 'I'd like to play with anyone but I REALLY want to play with this character A From Series X and character B from Series Z' or 'I would really like to play with anyone from these two series' or 'My character is a vampire hunter in canon so I want to play with vampires from any series, especially ones that are different from my canon'

Is this something people might be interested in?

What about memes with LESS choices.

For example: The porn scenario meme. There's SEVEN choice types and then there's TWENTY prompts under each choice. What about breaking the meme down into smaller memes? It would be a lot easier to respond to if they were smaller.

There's just a bunch of memes where the choices are overwhelming and it's possible some people would like to do more than one scenario.

I think 'no blank comments' type memes are an excellent idea though with the 'no blank comment' memes, more of them should probably provide an option for people to just give a short description of their character and what the mum is interested in playing.

That way: people don't have to tag blind as often, people don't have to post massive walls of text to cover all their bases on the meme, and musebox dumper sorts are at least slowed down (if not entirely put off) by being made to put in more effort than just switching accounts with LJ juggler.

We've had a bunch of creepy/surreal/sexy carnival memes, but have we had a regular ol' amusement park meme in a while? I'd like one of those.

Would an open post format work for that? I've been tinkering with the idea for an amusement park one. No RNG options, just a general description of the park, because I think everyone is aware of what's in an amusement park.

Also might possibly suggest that people who respond list a couple rides/attractions they might be found at. Optional of course, but it would provide a good starting point for taggers.
