Crashed the Wedding

Church bells chime out through the air. Forget just the bride - everything's decked out in white! There's going to a wedding today, which means there's certainly going to be a wedding night when the sun goes down. This should be a happy event! So what's the problem? It's not your wedding, but you want the person getting married badly. They're a crush, a former lover, a forbidden fruit, someone you just want for yourself, what have you.
There's only one thing for it: you're going to crash the wedding, the two of you will "elope" - whether you plan to marry them or not - and then, you'll have your own honey moon. Perhaps, the person you're desiring to know in all the most carnal ways wants to be rescued...
...if not, you may just steal them anyway.
HOW TO PLAY
- Comment with your character, the role you'd like them to play, and any preferences (ie no smut, etc).
- Reply to others.
- Play.
PROMPTS
- Mutual: They didn't want to get married to that other person anyway.
- Conflicted: One party's still unsure or guilty on some level, but those doubts are slowly fading away.
- Unwanted: You quite literally stole them away, possibly kicking and screaming.

they walk in together, arm in arm. it's not much of an entrance but she's not looking to make one; weddings are easier jobs when no one recognizes or remembers you. they head to the bar still linked by the elbows, not for libations but to scope out who makes for the best targets. she keeps her voice low as she speaks, giving what looks like appreciative glances at some of the men who admire them as they walk past. ]
Now you remember what I taught you to look and listen for, right? Best dressed and loudest doesn't always mean most money.

crashin' the wedding, la la la
She hadn’t RSVP’ed, but on the day of the wedding she dressed herself to the nines and gathered all the courage she could find. It was the last chance she would ever have to tell him how she felt before he was someone else’s forever. Somehow, she’d reasoned, if she could get to him before ’til death do us part she was still in the right. She’d be okay.
Of course it was a church wedding. That only added to Dutch’s guilt over what she was doing, but it didn’t stop her. It didn’t come close to stopping her. She opened the doors to the vestibule to find him standing there, looking rather handsome in his tuxedo. For a moment she was speechless.
“Steve…” Dutch frowned, near tears. On one level she was happy to finally be telling him, but on another she was guilty and horribly sad to be doing it now. Whatever she was feeling, she knew she couldn’t live with herself if she didn’t tell him how she felt. “I need a minute. I need to tell you something before you do this.”

Kyle didn't believe that it was over, not even when the world around him was green and vast and beautiful. There were too many timelines, the variables unpredictable, and where there was one nexus, there could be more. He was proved right when another T-800 had come to ask for help, help that he was willing to give no matter how much he never wanted to leave this new life.
A year or less passes and he finds himself in a universe of superheroes and aliens, on a mission to stop a wedding. A wedding which, given that it is never allowed to happen, will keep this universe from ever knowing Skynet. The only problem had been that he'd needed access and that had only come with the help of some guy named Steve.]
So what are you saying?
[He's wearing a suit for the first time in his life.]
We just, I don't know, walk right in there and tell them if they get married there's going to be a robot apocalypse? [He'd believe it, but he was a unique case.] That won't work.

For what? A name? Antiquated bullshit.
He'd cultivated that bitterness long enough that the wedding was looming but he couldn't wait any longer. Scorpius deserved better. Albus had initially refused to come despite being invited and he had no intention of staying now, but he was there anyway.
If he had anything to say about it, Scorpius wouldn't be staying either. He had to get to him before the ceremony started or his chance would slip right through his fingers - it was just a matter of finding him while not attracting too much attention. He could do that much, right? ]

Amery Vallet | The Volstovic Cycle
nor did anyone else, okay?))Amery has always had a role to play: a good soldier, a good son, and now, soon, a good husband. The girl standing with him at the altar is...not unpleasant, but so far from who he would have chosen for himself. Yet, he stands there, like a good son, prepared to bind his hand to a woman he barely knows and won't even touch.
His parents look so proud, but his brother looks miserable. His sister, nowhere to be seen. She had met a similar fate.
Amery can't help but be glad that he doesn't really recognize many in the crowd, but at the same time, he does wish someone would put an end to this. So too, he thinks, does his fiancee.

It did not resolve in a few moments. In fact, it grew louder, as an Airman in fine dress blues came stalking up the aisle. Blonde hair with braids and violent blue streaks, shiny black boots that were tall and untied. Rook in all his glory, a wicked smile on his face that said he knew he was causing an upset and was enjoying himself immensely. His ice blue eyes glittered with glee and casual malice: he was here to throw a wrench into everyone's works and have a hell of a time doing it, too.
Reaching the front of the church, he stopped and stood with hands on hips (there was a bottle of vodka held by the neck in one hand) and put on a disapproving frown as he pretended to examine the bride abd groom together. The grin came back, irrepressable, as he turned his back on them and addressed the crowd.
"Now what," he declared loudly - despite the vodka in his hand his voice was clear of any slur but the Molly accent that was his birthright, "Kind of self-sacrificing fuckin' moron goes an' gets himself hitched, not 'cause he's of a mind to himself, but 'cause he thinks it's what he should do?"
Half turning and gesturing expansively to Amery, with all a showman's grandeur and ability to hold the crowd spellbound waiting for the punchline, Rook declared, "This fine fuckin' idiot, ladies an' gents, this is the kind of brain-dead country bumpkin you gotta fuckin' save from them own selves, 'cause marryin' this fine young lady ain't gonna do shit for either of 'em."
With all eyes on Rook, the quiet procession of the rest of the Airmen (all in their best uniforms) up the aisle went mostly unnoticed: the majority of them were grinnng with amusement at the show.
