You've been caught red-handed! Or empty-handed. Or with your hands full of something completely inappropriate. Either way, you've been caught doing something you shouldn't have, and now you're in big trouble.

HOW TO PLAY:

- Comment with your character and preferences.
- Specify whether you'd like to be the person doing the catching, or the one being caught!
- Tag others and have fun!

PROMPTS:

1. INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY : You're in trouble with the law in some way! Perhaps you've been caught breaking and entering, or maybe you've been caught stealing something. Caught after a murder? Caught taking a slice of cake? Whatever it is, now you have to deal with the consequences of your actions, whether the person who catches you decides to call the authorities or deals with you personally.

2. CAUGHT LOOKING : Have you been gazing at someone too obviously while they've been doing something? Caught looking at an object of affection's diary or caught blushing furiously at something that's been said? Well, better make up some excuses fast.

3. EVERYONE DOES IT : Someone's walked in on you touching yourself! Oh my. Did you say anyone's name while in the act? Did you finish? Will you finish? It's okay, everyone does it. Just act natural.

4. I SAW NOTHING : You've just walked in on someone else naked or mid-change! Maybe they're in the wrong change room, or maybe you just barged into their bedroom or office to casually talk to them. Oops. 

5. IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE : Did you break a promise? Cheat on your partner? Cheat at a card or video game? Maybe you've done something that makes it look like any of the above.

6. WITH BEST INTENTIONS : Well, well. You've been caught doing something nice! Did you plan a surprise party? Buy a lovely gift for someone? Write a love note? Hide what evidence you can fast!

7. THE HUNTED : Someone or something's after you, whether it be for a debt you owe, retribution for something you did, or they're just plain crazy. Whatever it is, they're now closing in for the kill.

8. FREE GAME : Caught in a trap? Caught in some kind of crossfire? Caught falling asleep on the job? Anything goes!

[ Fuu had been walking around town trying to find Seifer all day. They didn't really have any plans, but Rai and Vivi were busy doing whatever Rai's and Vivis do together and she didn't really have anything herself. The only place she hadn't checked yet was his room, so she made her way to his house and quietly let herself in.

"Hello, Will. I wasn't expecting a--"

"Hannibal, there's someone claiming to be Tate Langdon that's trying to arrange a meeting with me at your house. Have any of your patients - maybe an old one, even - mentioned any specific interest in the Westfield High shooting? Or spree killers in general?"

The silence stretched. Will took it as an admission of guilty knowledge - he'd wondered if Hannibal knew the person on the other side of his unwanted texts.

"Give me a moment, please, Will." The line was dead immediately. Will had stared dumbly at the phone, until Winston's tongue on his hand jarred him back to the present.

By the time the phone rang again, Will was in bed, breath toothpaste-minty and hair still damp from the shower. "You figure out how to explain this to me?"

Hannibal had given enough pause that Will suspected he hadn't thought the prolonged silence was going to make him testy. When Hannibal finally spoke, his voice was amused. "A friend of mine has poor impulse control. He would like to meet you, Will."

"I gathered that when he invited me over to your house. Are neither of us calling the police?"

"You are the police. Higher than, if I recall how American law enforcement is stacked."

"So he's a friend of yours, claims to be a deceased school shooter, but this is a safe environment for me to walk into?"

"We take risks every morning we wake up alive."

Will's ceiling offered no insights, no matter how much he stared at it. "And if I don't come over to meet your friend?"

"I can promise that you will be safe from any fallout of his tantrum, should you not arrive."

Will had been quiet for so long that even Hannibal, patient to an inhuman degree, delicately cleared his throat over the line. "I'd prefer you out of the house."

"I wouldn't dream of intruding."

"I'll let you know what time I'll be visiting."

"Of course. And Will?" Will barely stopped himself from hanging up in time to listen. "I would keep an eye on your firearm when you visit. He's quite fond of them, and his sleight of hand may surprise you."

Will isn't one for missing old technology, but there was something more satisfying about slamming a phone into a receiver when you were finished with a trying call. The phone ends up on his nightstand, skittered into a corner from the force of his throw. Buster jumps, but none of the other dogs budge from their spots by the fireplace.

Will works the next day, but class ends at 1:45. With packing up his laptop, grabbing lunch from the dining hall at the university, and driving all accounted for, he still arrives early for the arranged time. A few minutes shy of 2:40, and Will is in Hannibal's new driveway, marveling at the differences between this house and his last one.

For starters, Hannibal had been audacious before, but it had all been his eccentricities. Now, he's hiding inside someone else's. The 'Murder House', it was called in some circles online. There were a few tabloid articles, but nothing reputable. A cult had tried to harm the family who owned it almost four years back, but no incidents stuck out as much as being the location where the Westfield High shooter was finally taken down.

His car is old enough that he has to manually lock the doors. Will shoves the keys in his pocket, feeling the way his shoulder holster limits the movement of his arms close to his body. He resists the urge to pat himself down and reassure himself that he has his cellphone readied with Jack's number, another clip on the opposite arm of his holster from the gun.

His hand, when he knocks on the door, is steady. Will doesn't wait for an answer before he opens it and steps inside, posture straight and quietly suspicious.

He silently steps into the foyer.

Of course he could both hear and smell what was going on. It wasn't difficult when you had as keen senses as him. But he wasn't opposed to purely fuck with Stiles for the fun of it. So when he can hear that he had been getting on well, he barges into the room without knocking.

"Hey Stiles... oh!" he says and feigns innocence. "Sorry, didn't know you had your hands full. Well. Half a hand maybe," he teases and shakes his head at the sight.

It's been an incredibly rough morning. She'd overslept, missed her bus, hurried all the way to school, and at the last minute, JUST as she was about to reach the gates- SPLASH. Doused with a ladle full of cold water.

Honestly she had no business coming to school, running a mild fever as she was, but Tohru remained ever oblivious. Now, thanks to that and her own airheaded tendencies Tohru has had to take a detour and borrow some clothes. Thankfully the girls of the volleyball team, running into her on their way out of morning practice, were kind enough to lend her something as well as their club room to change, but naturally she found a way to botch THAT up too.

So yes, that's exactly how she ended up walking in on Asahi changing in the boys' club room.

She's seen him around before, her upperclassman, two years above her, but they've never spoken. For one she had only just transferred in at the start of her second year, thanks to her family situation she'd moved from one countryside to another just at the start of her first year. Even if Tohru WEREN'T the painfully awkward new student she was usually too busy just trying to keep up with all the new changes in her life. That didn't mean she hadn't noticed him, though. It would be hard not to with all the talk going on about the team and its recent transformations this year. The team's ace, an intimidating looking fellow, but he seemed strong. She could easily imagine why he'd be looked to as some sort of sports ace.

Still, while she wouldn't say she'd gone out of her way to either avoid or approach him, she never imagined that their first meeting, if they had one, would go like THIS.

For one comical second or two she stands there frozen with her hand still on the doorknob, staring, and then her eyes grow as wide as saucers and her face as red as a Nekoma uniform. The clothes in her arms go flying in the next second with a startled cry of alarm. Immediately she whips around so that her back is to him, already stammering out a flood of apologies. ]

I'm so sorry!!! I swear I didn't mean to barge in like that! I thought this was the girls' club room!!!
