The thing about the weird arrangement they had together (because it's not as if it was a relationship, was it?) was that asides from that first meeting they had in that bar (how long has it been since then); they had never exactly been out in public. It was either meeting in a new place of his picking or he dropped in her place when he let her know was coming, and well she had no trouble with it -whatever made him feel comfortable and she wasn't the type to push for certain things anymore, with this thing it was more his pace than hers and she was fine with it, more so as it was working for whatever it was so far.

They also texted quite a lot, for whatever reason, and so she hadn't thought much when she had told him that she was going to a rather small and family own bookstore with a friend of hers during the afternoon. It wasn't till she was there with her friend that she considered that maybe he had wanted to meet up with her, but surely he would have told her so and she carried on with the mission to find a cook book her companion had set for the afternoon -one she quickly got bored off and she took off (getting a quick kiss on the lips from him and a teasing warning not to get lost) while she went to search for a book of her own, might as well take advantage of the visit.

She hummed a bit while she browsed through the many rows of science fiction books, before picking one to check the summary and thinking it was just a bit unfair they had left this particular section, all the way on the farthest and darkest corner, how the hell was people supposed to find it? But all the better for her, she could read without being disturbed while her friend was done with his own thing. It was a win/win situation.

This had not been Hakkyuu's favourite day.

First, he's ended up toppling through the mists straight into some other world he definitely doesn't know--always a great start. Second, during his tumble, he just so happened to crash unceremoniously into the back of a guard. This whole situation would have been kind of hilarious were it not for the sword hilt that cracked against the back of his head and made everything go very dark. Which lead on to reason three of why this day sucked, because as he blinked open his eyes, Hakkyuu was being dragged to a cell without weapons or clothes. In fact the only thing he did have was a dull throb of pain in the back of his skull.

Shit.

So there he was, stuck in some strange world he'd not even been in five minutes, stripped of anything useful, and with a particular special kind of fortune that had dumped him in the company of... Bandits? Slavers? It was a bit hard to tell from the muttered exchanges between his captors, clearly meant for each others' ears and not his own. Whatever they were, it was all bad news and the humour was definitely gone.

Interestingly though, he wasn't alone in the cell.

Against one wall there was another man, clearly more awake and agitated than Hakkyuu, though equally as naked and looking very displeased with the current predicament. He was not, however, someone that Hakkyuu recognised. Their incarcerators however seemed to treat the other prisoner with a certain degree of... Well, reverence was a stretch, but he was definitely being treated as someone of great value. It gave Hakkyuu the distinct impression that whatever situation he happened to fall into was way worse for the poor sucker chained to the wall. In all, Hakkyuu was probably suffering mainly from a good case of 'wrong place at the wrong time,' while the other guy had all the signs of someone who was a good opportunity for the bandits. Maybe this guy's day was actually worse than Hakkyuu's was.

The shove to the back Hakkyuu received was nearly enough to have him topple over on the way in, but quick reflexes and an agile nature save him from falling flat against the floor of the cell. Instead, he stumbled, only managing to steady himself once he was within an arm's reach of the man restrained to the wall. A few calls from the captors outside don't help matters much as he cast an unimpressed glance over one shoulder, then back to his cellmate.

"So. You sure look like you've seen better days," though even in this situation, he can't quite stop himself from shrugging a shoulder and adding with a bit of a dulled smirk, "But I gotta say, this wouldn't be a bad look for you if circumstances were a little different..."

Call it experience or just plain gut feeling, but if Hakkyuu didn't know any better he'd say that the faces peering into the cell felt a bit like an audience. And an audience always showed up to see something. Clicking his teeth in irritation, Hakkyuu was struck by the sense that this day was going to get a lot worse before it'd even think about getting better.

Chuck looked at his blind date and smirked; they'd got on so far but he thought he had her measure, and he'd been baiting her a little in the conversation and guessing how submissive she actually was. The alcove in the hotel restaurant provided privacy (he owned the place), so he decided to take a risk. "You know you look great sitting in the chair like that. But there's one way you'd look even better." He pointed at the ground and his voice hardened to make it an order. "Kneel!" With luck it wouldn't be too much too fast but what was life without a few risks. And if she was who he guessed she'd both enjoy it and possibly literally be eating out of the palm of his hand.

It had been an interesting date so far and if there was one thing Lydia was convinced of it was that Bruce Wayne was as much smarter than he let on than she was, and she wanted to know more. And he was good looking and much better at moving than he tried to pretend. So deciding to go back with him to his room was just the right thing, and she had already lost her dress although he seemed reluctant to let her remove any of his clothes. Not that she yet realised that was part of the point; Batman had far too many scars to let anyone see under his clothes, but Bruce was a playboy (not that she'd talk about how he was built like a tank under his tux). Which was the eternal dilemma for him - what to do with his girlfriends.

Lydia looked at the collar and looked up at him from sitting on his bed with a flirtatious grin. "Put it on." So that's what he was into? And she was almost certain there'd be cuffs or rope to follow although she hadn't yet realised that not touching him was the point. That and leaving her sufficiently wrecked not to want to or to wonder where he was when he went out on patrol. Part of her wondered whether her corset and lingerie were safe, but if Bruce Wayne couldn't afford to replace them then who could?
