She falls into step with him without missing a beat. One of the few things Elektra does enjoy about this life is dancing. Now granted what she truly loved was ballet, but minor details. She takes anything that makes this experience less dull.

"As much as one can. You know it rains far too much. It's like they're holding a funeral every day." Elektra elaborates with a sly smile. "Terrible for my shoe collection."

Bruce doesn't relish dancing but he doesn't despite it either. Alfred had made sure he was proficient in several forms of ballroom dancing and waltzes as is fit for someone with the social status of a Wayne. It doesn't feel that different from practicing different forms of martial arts, honestly. There's formation and movements you have to follow, there's an order to it that's comforting.

"I've gone through a few good pairs of shoes myself," He muses with a smirk on his own lips. "But beyond the rain and funerals we've been known to have some fun around here, if you know where to look."

Elektra raises a brow in interest. It's not totally fake. The kind of fun Bruce Wayne might get into would attract the Hand whether they're looking for people to snatch or somewhere to drink themselves stupid. It all depends on how sinister the plan is this time around.

"Is this the part where you invite me to one of those places?"

"It might be." He can play coy as well as anyone, when necessary. There's always a careful game with what he does as Bruce Wayne, and as Alfred reminds him from time to time, just as important as Batman in many ways. "You don't seem to be enjoying the party much -- which I can't blame you."

He pulls her in closer as the music lends itself to such a move. "These sort of events have always been a little droll for my taste."

She appreciates the observation, but it isn't enough to keep her interest. Elektra only has so much patience for the games men play at these parties especially when she can easily crash wherever this is. "If you're going to invite me, then get on with it. Not to wound your ego, but you're not the only attractive person at the party." She says precisely in the way that wounds every man's ego.

"It's rare that a woman is that direct at these things. I like it." It puts him on edge, slightly, but it has his attention all the same. "Consider this a formal invitation then, lest I be beat out by the competition." And Bruce does like to come off on top, when possible.

"You haven't spent time with the right women." Given these circles, that wouldn't surprise her at least. These ladies tend to be people pleasers who practically beg for approval. She doesn't suffer from that terrible disease thankfully. "But, credit where it's due. You catch on so let's go have some fun!" She smiles brightly, patting his arm. On with it, Bruce.

"We'll need to make a scene so I can leave." The transformation is almost instant, a carefully constructed act that he's perfected over the years. Despite having drunk very little his words slur as if intoxicated, and his expression is much more lecherous . He speaks loudly, to draw attention as he pulls her in much more closely,

"Come on, let's blow this joint, I can show you some real fun."

Elektra can't help herself. She laughs in delight because she's learned to love this game. She perfected it over the years when she needed to get away from the crowd. The fact that he plays it too makes things just a tiny bit interesting.

She leans in unsteadily, quirking a brow in challenge as she slurs out a response. "You promise?"

"I promise. I'm never one to leave a woman unsatisfied." He continues to slur his words as he stumbles towards the doors. It's subterfuge, one of his many skills that he's developed over the years when he's needed to slip away quickly to attend to other things, like he so often does.

The fact that she knows how to play it too, however, leads to more questions than answers.

Elektra plays along until they're out of the line of sight. From there, she instantly straights up, knocking her hand against Bruce's chest playfully. "That was wonderful! How did you pick it up? Last time I checked, you don't have to hide from sick old men with a fetish for Asian women." She supposes the twenty-something crowd probably latches on pretty hard.

"No, but I've had to find a way to run from people who only want to use me for my money." It's an easy enough lie. There were plenty of people who only talked to Bruce Wayne because they wanted him to donate to their cause or they wanted to date him for his money. It's not the main reason he ducks out of parties, but it is a reason all the same.

She chuckles. That makes perfect sense even while being a little sad. "Well no need to worry about that here. I have plenty of my own. The only thing I want from you is some fun." And cover to do what she needs to do. Same difference really.

"That I can provide." Fun was what the persona of Bruce Wayne was known for, after all, and little else. At least she seemed more interesting than a lot of the women he met to keep that reputation of his going.

She taps his chest. As usual she only has patience at the worst possible times. "Hop to it. We only have one night before I find another exciting place to be." Though that will be hard after Gotham. The place is quite charming.

"Good things come to those who wait." But he gets the point, and with that he will lead her off to have a more enjoyable evening then they were having at the stuff party. /scene
