The shadowhunter was more than a little bit prepared to be turned down. After all, she knew that not everyone was comfortable being as adventurous as her, but that didn't mean that she wouldn't encourage her friends to try, anyway. You never knew if you could do something, or if you'd like something, if you didn't ever give it a shot and try it. Clary was a beautiful girl as was, obviously, and Izzy wasn't one to refuse to admit as much to herself, but even more beauty...never hurt anybody.

The Lightwood daughter waited, watching the movement of Clary's eyes as patiently as she could. To say that she was surprised by the positive result was definitely an understatement! Izzy's grin was bright and she clapped her hands together, excitedly. "You won't regret it!" Izzy winked playfully as she turned back toward her closet, marching with purpose.

"We'll work up to the 'crazy' ones, Clary, but we'll start with something pretty that's more your speed." Izzy perused her vast selection of clothes and accessories for a moment, ruling out some options immediately before selecting two different pairs of heels. Both options were a little on the short side, as far as Izzy was concerned, but for Clary....they'd probably be manageable. One pair was black, the other gray, but both were about the same size heel, even if the toes and textures were different. She made quick work of setting both pairs of shoes out and then doubled back for three different dresses (seriously, if speed were a factor in fashion....Izzy'd hold some sort o record) one black, one gray, and one blue. Izzy was more than happy to mix and match any with the chosen shoes.

Holding up the three hangers as she stopped near the shoes, wiggling them all with a grin. "Lets start with these." Every single one was probably shorter than what Clary would pick, but each had. "Anything stand out to you?"
