In my restless dreams, I see that town...

Maybe you've come here by accident. Maybe on purpose, or together, or alone. Either way, the fog is settling down thick, and all roads leading out have crumbled away, leading only to deep cliffs and chasms. You're stuck.
Welcome to Silent Hill.
Instructions
1. Post your character with their name/canon in the subject line.
2. Tag around!
3. You can each choose or roll for a reason you're here.
4. You can even roll for a situation.
5. No powers! Sorry--enjoy that.
6. Oh, and try not to die.
why have you come?
1. You're searching for someone. A relative, a friend, a
2. An accident. You got lost in the fog, the roads fell off into chasms, you thought you saw someone in the road and crashed. Time to venture farther in for help.
3. Returning visitor. You've come here before, to the lovely little resort town, and had a beautiful time. But this second trip will be different.
4. An escape. You're running from something ... or someone. A crime you committed? Grief? Too bad you ran to the wrong place...
5. Wildcard, or make up your own!
what horrors do you encounter?
1. You just met. You've only been able to find each other, no one else in town. Stores are deserted, doors are locked, silence is everywhere. What happened here? What's going on?
2. A shuffling in the night, the fog, or in a tight dark hallway of an abandoned building. A strange creature is moving toward you. Maybe humanoid, maybe not. They can be powerful. They can be slow. They can vomit acid. Time to pick up whatever plank, knife, or gun available to you ... if you both want to live.
3. A dark secret from your past is returning to haunt you. It manifests in hallucinations, the town reaching deep inside your mind to paint the surroundings in grotesque symbolism. Yet, the other person can't seem to see what you see.
4. The walls are peeling away. Or maybe you got knocked out and just woke up to an entirely different kind of town. There are chains, rust, fans, orange light, splatters of blood. A horrific version of what used to be around you. Welcome to the Otherworld.
5. That other person with you--you see them as someone they're not. Someone from your past that you loved or feel bone-wracking guilt over. And no matter what they say, that they're not, they're someone else, you just can't help but see...
6. The town has driven you insane. The monsters, the guilt you may carry. It's all coming back to you. You need to lash out. At anything. At anyone.
7. Wildcard, or make up your own!

Would she forgive him?
He shakes of the thoughts, nods and follows closely behind her. His shotgun put aside in favor of his sling shot. The weapon is quieter and easier to use on the move. Her bullets fly and metal washers and cogs fly like rain.
There are so many of these things, instinct alone tells him that a herd of these would be a million times worse than a herd of zombies.
He puts his sling shot away when they enter the church and looks around. He watches cautiously, not interacting with any thing they pass be it another person or their living space. His posture does not relax an inch till they are in her room.
He nods, trusting her words that they will be okay as he takes the rifle from over his shoulder and props it against the wall. When it is done there is nothing to do but look at her.
Ironically wanting the very same thing she does but not knowing how to do it. His eyes travel her the same manners, checking her and breathing a deep relief when he sees she is alright.
There are a million things he wants to say, a million words on the tip of his tongue and he knows not how to articulate even one of them. He shifts his feet, his hands moving a bit as he tries.]
You're you, you're alive.
[Frack. Of all the words inside him it had to be those that escaped.]

[Her voice is gentle as she tries to make light of the situation. They're both hesitating and standing around awkwardly, so she paces a little. There's so many questions she has, so many things she wants to say, and she doesn't know where to start. All that she does know is that she's grateful this place finally has given her a break.
She paces a little longer, debating on whether or not she should just give in and do what she wants to do. In the end she tells herself to fuck it all and just act on instinct, which has her once again moving in to hug him. This time her hold on him is tight, nearly clinging. And within seconds, her small body is trembling as she feels herself crying.]
I'm glad you're here, Tommy.
[It's been horrible being here alone, because she hasn't tried socializing with any of the other people in town with her. She observes them, of course, but doesn't interact. And she's been lonely and miserable for so long now. ]
no subject
I'm staying, no matter what.
[She was glad he was here, he was glad she was here. Nothing short of death was going to convince him to leave her now. But her trembling has his attention and 10k holds Cassandra tighter. Then he moves on instinct, gathers her in his arms, sinking them to her pallet and simply holding her. Letting her free any emotions she needs to let out, giving her what he hopes is the comfort she needs.]
no subject
But it's not safe for you here.
[Her words are soft as she leans out of his hold to look up at him, eyes puffy and bloodshot.]
I'm not sure that I can leave. But if you can, we need to find a way.
no subject
I won't leave without you.
[The words sound final because they are. It was not safe anywhere and no matter the danger he was not leaving her again. He did that once and it had all turned out wrong. He was not going to take that risk again and from the tone in his voice there was no swaying.]
We're in this together.
[It was a lot of words for him but it was Cassandra and she seems to be an exception to rules for him in many ways that others are not.]
no subject
Together.
[She briefly touches at his hand as she says the word, trying to let him know that she appreciates the gesture. Not having to be alone is a tremendous weight lifted off her shoulders.]
Are any of the others here with you?
no subject
10k was not making that mistake again, had the group walked in right then and given him a choice this time he would chose Cassandra, he would keep her alive.
He shakes his head at her next question.]
No, I went for a walk to clear my head, I ended up here.
[There is that hint of grief, because he had left the group for that moment alone to stop himself from killing Murphy and damning them all. Because he blames Murphy for a lot but the most unforgivable was what he had done to Cassandra and what that action had meant 10k had to do.]
no subject
Lucky you.
[She dryly retorts out loud, a corner of her mouth tipping upward.]
How long has it been since you saw me last? It feels like months since I've seen you.
no subject
I found you and you're you.
[He feels pretty damn lucky; sure it seems like it is another hell hole but hey, they have been in plenty of those. His brow pulls together, that is a question without a simple answer.]
It's been awhile, you weren't yourself after the underground lab.
no subject
[She only says it after a prolonged pause, where she tries so hard to make any connections that might spark her mind into cooperating.]
Everything's fuzzy after you guys left me behind.
[Which is probably for the best, if he's honestly admitting that she wasn't herself after the lab. It makes her incredibly worried about what happened, about what sort of things she did. If she can't remember, and he has that look on his face...
Maybe Murphy did bite her after all.]
no subject
[10k knew that while she had not wanted to die, she would not have wanted to be Murphy's slave. She had been used enough and he did not want to tell her what happened but neither would he keep it from it.]
I won't do that again. [It was him admitting that leaving her behind and alone was the wrong idea. Without thinking he finds himself staring at the scar on her cheek. His heart cracks and he does not realize as he reaches out to touch it.]
I promise.
no subject
Tell me.
[To anyone else, it would be a command. But she isn't as blunt with Tommy as she is with the others, so it comes out sounding like a plea. She wants to know what happens, and the fact that she doesn't remember makes her incredibly uneasy. She has an idea of what happens to her, but she wants to hear it from 10k before she reacts.]
I deserve to know.
no subject
But there is no forgetting in their world, perhaps there can be forgiveness. As Tommy looks in Cassandra's eyes there is one thought he has above all else and so he voices it.]
Please don't hate me.
[He swallows, never dropping his gaze from hers as his shoulders raise. It is clear that starting this story is not an easy task, even if he is more open with her than any one in the group.]
When we left you in the supply cost, Murphy went in last to say [This word almost chokes him because that should have been it. As much as her death would have hurt, she should have been allowed to remain human till the end. It was her right.]
goodbye. But he is jerk and couldn't, he is selfish and he bit you. You came back as some kind of hybrid, human zombie. First time I saw you, you saved us. It was like part of you was still there. Then, the next time, you were gone. You didn't recognize us. [There is the heavy grief as he makes an unusually long speech for himself. When he mentions Murphy in the story one can hear the heavy, deep, heated, anger that rests in his soul for the man.]
He made you his slave, I kept trying to find you, I kept trying to see if you were in there but then we had to stop Murphy and he made you stop us. You hurt Addy, you wouldn't listen, it was like you didn't know who I was.
[He closes his mouth, his eyes dance with unshed tears, kept deep inside as he comes to the moment he lived right before seeing her here.]
I had to give you mercy. I didn't want to, I had to.
[His gaze tells his pain and begs her forgiveness.]
no subject
That hurts, because it shames her that it had to get to that point. That she couldn't control herself and go back to being herself.
A part of her wants to cry, but she feels like she's gotten out all of the emotion that she has left in her. Crying isn't going to fix what's happened, but it sure as hell confirms that she thinks this place is some kind of in between.]
I couldn't ever hate you.
[Her voice cracks when she says it, emotion evident in her tone. Eyes glassy with tears, she looks up at him, smiling sadly. She can't hate him, especially not when he gave her mercy and finally let her rest.]
You saved me, Tommy. I never would hurt you or Addy, and if I got to the point where I would -
[She let out a shaky breath, and looked down to stare at her hands that are folded on her lap.}
It needed to be done. Alright?
no subject
He does not look at her, instead he stares intently at his hands. Fingers still as he fights every urge to fidget.
I couldn't ever hate you....
His eyes rip upward, meeting hers. They hold their own sheen of tears that will not be allowed freedom.
He chokes up, he does not know how to articulate what he feels in that moment, instead he gathers in and hugs her tightly. Saying what he can't in words through his actions.]
