The Body Heat Meme

1. Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
2. Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
3. A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
4. So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
5. Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[The words come out between chattering teeth. Buffy is wearing leggings, knee high boots and a thin tunic with quater length sleeves. In other words, she is in no way prepared for this kind of weather. They were supposed to do some hiking, have a picnic, maybe look at some stars and oh, slay some evil tree demon things that were killing campers. That's it! Really! Instead, the blizzard came up very suddenly and the abandoned hunting cabin they're in doesn't have much in the way of...well...anything.]

Well, Kaidan wasn't entirely wrong. Snowed in with just the two of them, and due to the blizzard, the complete absence of paparazzi (which was one of their goals)...and a working heating system. Shepard wished that they had their armor with them at least.

Initially, he was fine with the temperature and took it in stride. But now that they've been snowed in for more than half the day and the sun's setting, Shepard finds himself in bed with his jacket on trying not to shiver.

With a final hollow thud, Indy shoved himself away from the door. The layer of frost that once perfectly coated it sported a slick dent from where Indy's shoulder had repeatedly impacted it.
A testament to just how pathetic their efforts of the last half-hour were.

"Damn... Bolt's too strong. The whole container's probably... Two, three inches thick." Indy seethed aloud. He turned to face his companion, his features softening to a more apologetic look.

"I'm sorry kid... We're not getting out that way."

[Adrian eyes the blanket on the floor without saying anything. This, he supposes, is the part where they both pretend they wouldn't cuddle with another man under a blanket Not Even If They Were Dying since that would make them Gay and it's a lot better to just be stubborn. Well, okay, that wouldn't be his reasoning, but he dislikes making other people uncomfortable in that way, even if he really wouldn't mind spending any length of time under covers with a man as handsome as Tony.

The point is that it is starting to be ridiculously cold here, and even though, yes, having your secret base in the middle of snow is totally awesome there's central heating in there, so it's not exactly a preparation for being (still) stuck in Tony's world, now with the added bonus of being totally unprepared for being cold except for that one blanket folded up on the floor in front of them.

What is this, some kind of special punishment damned to play out for eternity like a Sartre play? Do not pass go, do not collect $200.]

[Right, mountain cabins are supposed to be fun and romantic and generally great, according to movies. What movies don't tell you is how freezing cold cabins are, especially if you can't get the roaring fire started and only brought one blanket. Yeah, okay, it's the spring, but it's night, and nights in the mountains are really fucking cold and Ally's pretty sure her toes are going to fall off.

[So somehow, some way, through the amazing persuasive powers of the higher-ups (ugh, Kotetsu couldn't stand those guys), the two of them had ended up in some complicated stake-out mission, because what better way than to display the heroic and daring courageous skills of Wild Tiger and Barnaby than showing the public that they were just as capable of fighting crime out of their suits than in them? Which, in theory, sounded great!

Until a sudden cold front had hit Sternbild, and oh yeah, dealing with freezing cold temperatures in an abandoned building with nothing but your civilian clothing and a single thin blanket to keep you warm made you look really badass. Include sarcasm there. But Kotetsu wasn't one to quit on the job just because he couldn't feel his face, his hands or anything below the waist. Didn't mean he couldn't still complain though.]

To have been taken prisoner rankled Sif harshly. She'd not been expecting the ambush by the Frost Giants, and to overhear them talking of how this would cause Thor and the mortal Steve Rogers to come to Jotunheim and thus into their trap made her furious.

Robbed of her weapons, she shuddered against the cold and tried to think of a way to escape. Looking over at the mortal woman who'd they'd kidnapped, she could not wonder how Peggy was faring...after all, if she, an Asgardian, were finding it difficult, how well could the mortal be managing the icy air of Jotunheim?
