Welcome to My World!

It's a whole new world!  And how lucky, you've got a friend(?) who has the responsibility of helping you live through it.  Are you a Super Saiyan getting used to the idea of demons in feudal Japan?  Or maybe you're an angel who's making friends with a pretty sweet alien.  Maybe you just come from an alternate version of earth and need a local to help you overcome culture shock.  Thank goodness you're not alone!

Here's how it works:
1. Leave a post. You will be the guide to any new arrivals to your world!
2. Comment to posts. You are stuck in the world belonging to the person you've tagged. (i.e., if you tag Naruto, you'll be in his world with him as your guide)
3. SHENANIGANS.  Thread out any scenario! Maybe various scenarios!  Write an epilogue when you're done or something. Use this meme to launch a million AUs for the musebox.  DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE.

Nice to meet you, Usagi-chan! I'm Zidane Tribal, but you can call me Zidane. Or anything you want, if you've got any better ideas.

And, uh--d'you happen to know where I am? Because it sure doesn't look like where I'm from. At all.

[She takes him to mean the simplest version of the question, and the closest.]

This is the Juuban District. We're near the junior high school. Are you lost?

[Those words don't all make sense to him.]

I must be, cause I don't know where Juuban is, and I don't know what kind of a school a "junior high" is.

Before I showed up here all of a sudden, I was traveling in an airship, on the way to Alexandria with my theatre troupe. Any of that sound familiar to you?

Never heard of it. [And somewhere, Ami weeps, who could have told them exactly where Alexandria, Egypt is. Of course, it still wouldn't be what Zidane is looking for.]

Are you a tourist, then?

A tourist? [Usually he associates tourists with people who are easy marks--since his theatre troupe is secretly a group of professional thieves. He shakes his head.]

More like an explorer. Or an adventurer, you could say.

[buntails]

No way! [But this disbelief is entirely friendly.] That sounds so neat! Where have you traveled?

Yeah, really!

[He likes this response.]

All over the known world. From Lindblum to Alexandria and all places in between. I've been everywhere it's possible to go. [Or as far as he knows, and he still hasn't found what he was looking for... But no sense dwelling on things like that! There are things to deal with now.]

But... you said you don't know Alexandria. Are you sure? It's a really big, important country.

[buntails]

[She shakes her head, but with a sheepish smile, she makes the understated confession.] But I'm not really good with maps. It sounds foreign. Are you American?

[Alright, having an American friend would definitely be cool to tell everyone about.]

What's American?

[He's never heard the term before, and this place sounds--and looks foreign to him. This is just getting more confusing.]

What country is this, anyway?

[buntails]

Are you sure you're a tourist and you didn't get hit on the head or something? [How can someone... not remember... what country they're in? She is getting worried for you, Zidane!]

Anyway, this is Japan.

No, no, I definitely didn't get hit on the head. I'm fine, I'm sure! I'd remember something like that.

[He would, right? In spite of what he'd said, he touches his head to be sure, but there are no bumps on it, and it doesn't hurt. Nope, no head injuries.]

Er, though--I've never heard of Japan, either.

[buntails]

Hey! I know! You must have come here somehow, right? Let's take a walk for awhile and see if you recognize something!

[happygolucky]

Hey, y'know, that's a pretty good idea. Let's try it.

[He looks around.]

Nope, don't recognize anything here! Where to next?

[buntails]

[She comes alongside him as if they're already old friends.]

Let's see, let's see...

How about the park? Or we could go to Tokyo Tower! [The latter especially seems to be a significant place. He might remember something there, right?]

[Zidane follows along beside her, just as friendly.

He isn't seeing anything remotely familiar, but at least now he has a cute companion! So it's not all bad.]

The tower sounds good. If we can get to the top, I can look around from up there and see if there's anything I remember.

[He doesn't know anything about Tokyo Tower, but it sounds like a good plan!]

If we go up the tower, it's really tall! You'll be able to see all kinds of things from up there, maybe even something you recognize!

What's the last thing you remember doing before we met?

Great, then it's a plan!

Let's see... I was flying in my troupe's airship, the Prima Vista. It's a real big luxury liner! We were on our way to Alexandria, gonna-- [Well, kidnap the princess, but he's not going to mention that.] --perform a play for the princess's birthday. I wasn't doing anything in particular, just hangin around.

[buntails]

[Kidnapping princesses is very, very bad, Zidane. But the play makes Usagi light up, ignorant of the real purpose.]

At the castle, I bet! I'd love to see that. I bet it'd be so beautiful.

[happygolucky]

[Not when he does it! He's the good guy. Turns out the princess needs to be kidnapped. And she wants to be, which helps.]

Right, we're gonna put on the show right in the castle. I Want to be Your Canary. It's got tragedy, romance, action, everything you could want. I'm sure the princess is gonna love it.

[buntails]

[Oh, in that case, where were you in her past life when she needed help sneaking out of the palace to go see Earth and her prince? Because she could really have used a kidnapping sometime.]

Hey, does that mean if we can find your way back, I can come see the play? [Guess who's got stars in her eyes already?]

[Sorry, he hadn't been created yet. But he would have, if he could have!]

Sure you can! I'll have a special seat saved just for you, Usagi-chan. Then I'll show you around. It'll be lots of fun.

[Zidane doesn't think about how this is going to get in the way of the kidnapping. And he doesn't know how disastrously the play is going to end. But how can he refuse a lady's request?]

Come to think of it, what kind of role do you have? I bet it's the lead! The dashing and handsome prince for the princess!
