[Kuro had been taken in by the Voltron crew a while ago, he had been very wary of the strange earless and tailess cats. None of them were able to understand his meows either. All their things were strange too. There was no ground and they moved around in a floating house that went to places that the simple minded and primitive feline had never seen before.
All of it was very overwhelming to the feline. Thankfully he was able to somewhat adapt, Shiro made him feel very safe and kept a watchful eye over him when he tried interacting with some of the tech. It was only natural that at some point the curious cat would get into trouble. And it was now, Kuro had been frightened by some of the planet's inhabitants (who were child size and had gotten a big kick out of someone taller would be so frightened.)and had done what any frightened feline would do. Climb up the highest tree to get away. However, it had proved to be too tall for him to climb down.
The child size race hurried off when they realized their game had gone too far and eventually Shiro showed up beneath the tree.]
