Research was not taking it easy when one considered the distances involved to get there. At least he'd gotten away with relatively minor injuries, but seriously, he needed to at least try.

It had taken an act of heroism to prevent those largely improbable events from becoming entire too lethal. The guy deserved a break, at least until the broken bones healed up.
