Zell smiled happily at Squall's words. While not as many, they were just as deep. If they were someplace else, Zell would hug him and nuzzle him and kiss him, showing no restraint with the affection the words brought on. As it was, he couldn't help reaching over the table to take Squall's hand, despite his earlier reluctance to show anything over the table. The top of his foot curled around Squall's leg as it continued its slow movements.

"I only want you too." His hand tightened slightly around Squall's, his eyes shining with love and adoration. While he meant to keep with the light flirts they'd been doing, he couldn't complain about the direction they took. It was better not to get worked up in public anyway. They could probably continue their flirting later, on the train.

After a moment, he reluctantly let go of Squall's hand, leaning back again so he wouldn't be caught in another embarrassing situation. Though safe in the shadows, his foot kept moving, keeping the closeness despite their distance. "So you really liked the concert? Sorry I didn't pick up any merchandise for us to remember it by." He frowned a little, but it didn't reach the happiness still in his eyes. Even without any of the merchandise, Zell felt he'd always remember it. It was his first official date with Squall.
