The first song slowed and ended and the sound of cheers erupted into the air like thunder. Squall broke the kiss to watch the crowd cheer and clap and turned back to Zell to smile.

He knew deep down that eventually everything would come out. His feelings for Zell in words, telling everyone about what was going on, things like that. Because that was life. The future was always something Squall was worried about though. Peoples reactions and what they would think. He knew none of that probably didn't matter to Zell but he always had a habit of being over critical of things himself.

"I honestly don't know what I did to deserve all this. To deserve us." Squall said next, honestly and openly.
