Zell's bright smile was back again and he nodded enthusiastically before throwing the bag over his shoulder again and heading out.
The trip to Balamb was short enough and changing wasn't really an issue with the way that Zell knew the town's layout. They went in his house and left out the back in a way that he knew no one would be able to see before walking around to the closest street. It was pretty easy. He ended up storing his bag in his room, just taking the snacks he brought out of the bag and into the fairly large pockets of his new jeans. He did a short wash of his hair in the sink before towel drying it to lay loose, then it took a little bit for him to get his tattoo covered. Complete with the new clothes and light winter jacket that was unlike his usual one, he could pass for someone else.
Still, the less time in public in a small town, the better. They wouldn't have much of an issue in a place like Deling; there were just way too many people they would be able to blend in with during the time they weren't in some private space. Fortunately, they didn't have to wait long for the train, the timing nearly perfect.
Then they were in the private compartment of the train. It definitely wasn't as nice as the SeeD compartment. It didn't have any beds, and the seating was a cheaper material. It was also a lot smaller... but it was nice. He leaned back in the seat, pleased that his plan was going well so far. "See? No problem! No one gave us a second glance! It's only gonna be easier where we're going."
