We have the pregnancy and pregnant smut meme, but this meme is for the act of impregnation, which is a kink in and of itself, especially when lots of focus is given to in through narration and dialogue. And of course it's a versatile kink, lending itself well to consensual, vanilla, non-con, and many many other things. And there's mpreg, too!

Let's cut to the chase: this is a meme about impregnation, whether it's the doing or the getting. There are prompts for all tastes, even those who just enjoy the idea and not the reality.

WHY

1. Consensual. You and your lover think it's time to start a family.
2. Risk. You don't necessarily want to get pregnant, but the risk is hot as hell.
3. Ownership. You want to get somebody pregnant up because you think that will make them yours. Or you're trying to get knocked up to keep them here.
4. Forced Breeding. Like the stables meme, or something involving the government.
5. Continuing the Line. You need an heir. Simple as that.
6. Accidental. It's either the heat of the moment or you're inexperienced, but this isn't planned through.
7. Humiliation.You're impregnating someone to humiliate them.
8. Interspecies. The two of you are making a child born from the union of two different species.
9. Lovesick. This pregnancy is an expression of your love.
10. Expected. Everyone expects you to have a baby, so you decide to do so.
11. As a Favor. Your friend wants a baby, so you'll act as a surrogate
12. Roleplay. You're just using the idea of pregnancy up as an exciting aide. There's no actual risk here, but you have all the trimmings.

Tera may not have known Derek for long, but she knew his family's reputation, and she knew he was strong. So, while her request might seem strange to the average human, in her mind, it was only practical. She wasn't asking for a relationship, she just wanted to have a child. Whether he was involved in the child's life after it was born, well, she left that up to him.

Of course, she realized that he might not think the same way as she did, and he could very well decline. She wouldn't be offended.

His main reason to take pause here is that because he hasn't known Tera very long, he doesn't ever come out and say what he is. Lots of people already know that the Hales are — were... — a pack of werewolves, but it's not like he goes around advertising it to the world at large. The problem here is not that she's asking him to give her a child, because if he was human, he wouldn't even have to hesitate. He doesn't know if she knows what he is and there's no way to find out without rushing outing himself in the process. So the problem isn't the request, it's whether or not he should fulfill it. There's at least a fifty-fifty chance her kid starts cutting fangs instead of regular baby teeth when they start teething and how the hell is he supposed to explain that?

"I...am flattered that you're asking me, but...can I sleep on it? Maybe?" Which will really only be stalling and won't actually accomplish anything, but it's the only thing he can think of to say in that moment.

She hasn't exactly come right out and said what she is, either--perhaps because she's waiting to see if Derek will figure it out for himself--but the Hale family history doesn't bother her in the slightest. If anything, it's a major factor in why she's chosen to ask Derek in particular. Not that she wouldn't care just as much for a fully human child, but how would the child feel about seeing his or her mother shift into a wolf?

Tera cocked her head, considering Derek's counter-proposal. "Of course." She hadn't asked him on a whim; it was only fair that he had taken time to reflect upon his answer. "There is no particular hurry."

He gives her a small, apologetic smile. It's the first time in his life that he's wished he wasn't a werewolf, because he knows how much it sucks to want children and know that you can't. If he can change that for someone, at least he can assuage that upset off of someone else, even if he'll always want for it. His life is too dangerous and it wouldn't be safe or fair to bring a child into it, no matter how much he wants one. But if someone else has a better set of circumstances more welcoming to the world of parenting, then who is he to say no?

...except.

Except for the werewolf thing. "I just...it's kind of a big deal, you know? Even for the guy, sometimes. So I'll definitely get back to you, just...yeah. Tomorrow."

"I understand," she says, offering a brief smile of her own. She had just bypassed the usual courtship conventions. His response was only human. Only natural. In a way, she was glad that he had not immediately accepted her proposition. It showed her that he was responsible, and cared about whatever offspring may arise.

"I would not want to pressure you into decision. Take all the time you need. We can certainly discuss it further once you've had a chance to think about it."

"Perfect, thanks," he replies. At least she's not going to push. He hopes that the understanding isn't just a ruse because she assumes that he'll say yes. It'll make him feel especially bad when he's pretty sure he's going to have to say no. That makes him feel terrible even thinking about, because she's being understanding and she doesn't mean to be putting him in a really uncomfortable position. He knows that; it isn't her fault.

So it sucks to know that, more than likely, he's going to have to be the bad guy here. Maybe the time he takes to think it over can be better spent looking into alternatives for her, to help her out in his absence...

Tera leaves him to his thoughts, half convinced that he will say no, and she'll have to find someone else. She won't hold it against him. There are other ways to form a pack, after all. Taking in young werewolves without a proper alpha to guide them is something she has done in the past, and adopted family is family just the same.

But that didn't mean she wouldn't be anxiously awaiting his answer when it came.

Perhaps a late-night run in wolf-form would help to pass the time.

( No on 1, 2, 6, 9, and 12. 8 is pretty much default for him. Mostly interested in 3, 4, and 7 with Peter being the victim. Also very interested in 11. 5 is possible if we go with an AU where he's decided to takes his place as heir to the Spartoi Empire.

( The only one that might not work for him is 9. He's pretty much going to be the aggressor in 3, 4, or 7. M!preg (or maybe the threat of it through magic, etc.) is welcome with him doing the impregnating. )
