[And honestly, so does Loki. There aren't many people who can hold him up like this, and even fewer people tall enough to make it almost necessary.]

Besides, no-one will find us. Who do you think I am?

[His lips quirk up slightly and he pulls him in a little closer, leans in to kiss Loki again. It's harder this time, he lets it linger for a bit longer.]

Guess you can be sneaky when you want.

Of course I can. Who do you think you're talking to?

[He smiles back. He likes the fact they can talk like this, teasing without meaning most of it, just as much as he enjoys anything more physical. Hellboy certainly isn't what anyone would expect Loki to want, not at all pretty or charming- but it works, and that's all Loki really needs. He threads his fingers through a sideburn, leaning into the kiss with enthusiasm.]

And speaking of sneaky, don't you think it's been long enough since we saw each other outside of work? My place or yours tonight?

Your place. I just got new kittens, y'know, they don't need to see this.

[And more seriously, Loki'd probably complain about getting cat hair everywhere. He leans in to kiss Loki again, biting at his lower lip carefully. Loki might not be his usual type-- but this works. It works out surprisingly well.

And hey, maybe he found a partner he's not gonna run off just yet.

A little corruption never did anyone any harm, you know. Even juvenile felines.

[He smiles, wide and just slightly teasing. He doesn't necessarily understand the urge to collect so many cats himself, but- it is harmless, he supposes. And an oddly vulnerable side to someone who has so few of them, too.

For now he lets the kiss linger for a while before moving, sideways and down over Hellboy's jaw.]

He lets out a low, rumbling groan as he tips his head to the side, offering up more skin.]

Yeah? I feel special.

[He grins against skin, keeps kissing his way down Hellboy's neck, only stopping to bite once. Hellboy doesn't bruise all that visibly, thankfully, and Loki doesn't have to watch how hard he bites too much.]

So you should. You don't think I stop to pull just anyone into an alley, do you?

Have you ever even had pets before?

[He lets out a low noise at the bite, shifting Loki in his arms a bit to hitch him even closer.]

Not that I know of anyway. You sure you want to do this here instead of your place?

Mmm, but cats do tend to like me.

[He can be one, which says something about him, perhaps, but does mean he has a rough idea what cats like. Attention, mostly.

And attention he's getting, right now, and he smiles against Hellboy's neck, bites again harder a little lower down before kissing his way back up over both bites.]

We'll have to go back to work in a moment, and I'd prefer not to act too suspiciously. So- a quick teaser for now, and a memory to carry through till this evening.

[He lets out a low growl at the bite before he turns his head, kissing Loki harder, deeper.]

[He smiles, head tipped back a little, although he can't disguise his own hunger as he kisses Hellboy back.]

Yeah? I better not be the only one thinking about it, at least. Means I'm not doing something right then.

[He teases, hitching Loki just a bit closer.]

[He takes a sharp breath at the bite and grins, wickedly.]

[He leans in for one last kiss, quick and fierce, before he lets himself drop down lightly, landing almost noiselessly. He trails his fingers over Hellboy's larger hand, the wrist he can barely curl his hand around.]

I've never been able to work out if you can feel this hand or not, you know.

[He looks down at Loki's hand on his, at the way he tries to curl his fingers around his wrist.]

I don't feel pain with it, but it isn't lifeless.

[It's bulky and something he'd been tempted to cut off once he learned what it meant, but it's safer right where it is. Even if it is a pain in the ass... It has its uses anyway.]

It's just not good for hand holding, you know.

[He rolls his eyes, although mostly for effect. But after a moment he trails his fingers up over that arm, tucking his hand into Hellboy's elbow, a strangely old-fashioned gesture.]

But very good for punching people in the face?

[He snorts when Loki decides to take his arm instead... because that's so much different than hand-holding, right?]

[He looks up, smiling with a hint of mischief, although as they get nearer the exit of the alley he pulls his hand away, fingers trailing over the skin as he does.]

[He gives Loki a look, eyes narrowing before he rolls them.]

I've noticed you seem to think so anyway.

This is how partners work, yes? You do what you're good at, and I do what I do best.

[He grins, pretence almost completely back in place. Just two partners, who don't always get on, and who certainly aren't getting up to anything more than a little arguing. But his fingers are still light against Hellboy's skin for a moment longer, before they get too close to the alley's exit to make it safe.]

And you're so much better at the physical aspects of fighting than I am.

You're built like a brick wall. Doubt you couldn't hold your own in a fight.

[He's heavy and solid, even if Hellboy's bigger... something tells him he just prefers not to.]

By Asgardian standards, I'm positively flimsy. Besides, I didn't say I couldn't, just that it's not what I do best.

[He rolls his eyes, in apparent exasperation. It's not strictly true; even by the standards of most Asgardians, he can take quite a kicking, and he does have experience and training. He doesn't like fighting if there's some other solution, though, and he really is much better at sneaking.]

You certainly don't do that best.

[But then again, humans were pretty squishy, honestly...

He straightens up, eyes narrowing slightly.]

What are you talkin' about? I drive better than you at least.
