Oh no no, he needs the Senior Citizen menu. [ She leans sideways, makes a show of (not really) stage whispering behind her hand and adds, ] It's the Wheaties.

[ The woman gives her a look that says Why me? but walks off to collect a senior menu insert, if only to shut her up. Natasha looks down at the choices, then flicks her eyes up at Steve over the top of the laminated menu. ] Think I'm gonna get French Toast.

[ It's not the weirdest situation he's ever been in. Or the worst. In fact, its almost cozy, despite that one of the table occupants is a former SHIELD agent and the other is a legendary (and ex-mythical) assassin. Bucky peers at Sharon over the rim of his coffee cup, alert to the possibility she might turn him in, but hoping the tenuous web of connections between them - namely Steve and Peggy - holds enough weight to keep things on neutral ground. ]

Sometimes you're circling the globe with a glass of wine in one hand and a presentation outline in the other. Sometimes you're stranded at an airport terminal somewhere in the Midwest, because the weather isn't cooperating with even a Stark Industries jet, and doesn't care that you've got a meeting in LA in five hours.

3 AM in the heart of the corn belt means that even jet-setters have limited options as far as food goes, and the sticky warmth of the airport Denny's has sung a siren song that promises coffee, plentiful and cheap. Pepper Potts slips in with uncharacteristic silence, her heels temporarily downgraded to a pair of ballet flats after an overzealous TSA screener took issue with the interior steel shanks needed to raise them to her preferred heights. Thus, she's free to spot Tony first. And stop.

Of all the gin joints in the world... in Bogart's inimicable tones floats free-form through her overtired brain, as after a glance around at how empty the place is, the idea of mutually pretending (badly) that they're not inexplicably in the same restaurant is abandoned. Instead, Tony's booth is graced by one Pepper Potts with a wearily wry little smile. "I thought I'd skip a few steps," she says by way of greeting.

[Wander may have initially come here to eat, but when he noticed that Space Denny's was short staffed for the weird 3 am rush, he pretty quickly stepped in to help.

When he sees Hater.... three options.

1. Run. Get Sylvia and ditch this planet. That is definitely the option that she would want him to take.

2. Join Hater and have a nice, pleasant conversation over breakfast. The only downside to that plan is that Hater never seems to understand that nice, pleasant breakfast conversations should feature a lot less trying to destroy your breakfast companion.

3. Keep helping! Considering how busy Denny's is, that seems to be the only way to go. He can't just leave them in a lurch now! So he reaches into his hat, pulls out a fake mustache and a monocle, and goes over to Hater's table. He plops down a tall glass first.]

Here is a free peanut butter and banana smoothie for you, sir. Can I take your order?

Denny's is a little different from Hanabi's usual haunts, and she's gotten caught up on the menu. She spends enough staring perplexedly at it that the waitress comes over to check on her and Damian. "Doing alright, hon?" She's noticeably fretting over Hanabi's eyes. "I can read the menu for you if you want, if your friend here can't do it for you."

Hanabi tries to look polite, but she stalls on an answer and turns to Damian, trying to get him to say something for her.
