What better way to cool off than with your favourite nightly desert. Maybe you'll have to chase down the ice cream man before you get it, though...

[ Being sick is never fun, especially when you're running a fever. He'd been in the South. Watch business had taken him far from his post at Castle Black and the return journey had been supposed to be simple. But he'd fallen ill on the road, feverish and practically delirious, forced to stop at the Eyrie of all places. He's still bedridden, unable to rise and sweating from the fever. One of the girls attends him, another bastard.

Something though, was familiar about her he couldn't place. That might just be the fever talking, of course. He tosses again in his half-wakefulness, half-sleep, trying to push at the suddenly overly warm bedclothes. ]

( If Sigyn has a weakness on Midgard, it's ice cream. Chocolate, topped by mint chocolate chip. [The temperatures in the New Mexican desert could reach some pretty extreme numbers. Usually Jane could handle it, but the AC in her trailer had gone out and she just didn't have the cash to fix it just yet.

Then Thor had dropped in. Literally. He'd dropped out of the sky and landed only a few feet from her RV. Not that she wasn't happy to see him. She'd rushed out and he'd swept her into a fierce hug that left her breathless.

After talking for awhile, she decided to show him the wonders of ice cream.

After driving around for a bit, she located an ice cream stand. After standing in line they both received their cones of ice cream - she'd ordered for him and guessed he'd like chocolate.

Now came the big moment. Holding her cone, she shows him how to eat it]

You just sort of...lick it. It's soft and it'll melt in your mouth.
