There's the cool sensation of metal around your wrist, followed by a sudden click as you realize you've been cuffed to someone else. With no way to get them off, and the keys missing, you're going to have to get used to being stuck together for now.

There's got to be some way to get rid of them...

Scenario idea - she incurred the wrath of these particular cursed handcuffs that were displayed in a small gallery of 'Jinxed & Cursed Artifacts' by not reading the 'Do Not Remove' sign until AFTER she had removed them (way to go -.-;;;) & so when she tried to put them back, they began flying after her. Your character is minding his damn business coming along the hallway when - BAM! She runs into him. However, not only that, the cursed handcuffs latch onto you both, going from her right wrist to your left wrist.

Never has Daryl cursed his curiosity and fucking terrible luck more than he is now.

It had started with an impromptu bit of scouting during his hunting trip. After stashing his crossbow and motorcycle in some bushes, he'd followed the sound of distant voices until he caught sight of a compound, consisting of repurposed warehouses fenced in with chain link topped with barbed wire. By this point in the apocalypse he'd had the lesson repeatedly and brutally beat into him that it was simply better, safer to avoid other groups, but even so, he'd wanted to gauge how much of a potential threat they were so he could report back to his own people. With that in mind he'd cautiously crept closer, staying concealed — or so he'd thought. The deafening crack of a gun firing immediately preceded searing pain in his shoulder, something hard impacting the back of his skull, and then darkness.

His vision swims in and out of focus when he finally opens his eyes and tries to gain his bearings, finding himself slumped over with his face in the dirt. He struggles to sit up, biting back a groan as his injured shoulder throbs painfully, and when he's reaching up to check for any head injuries he becomes aware of the handcuffs restraining him. But only one of his hands is bound, with someone else's hand occupying the other cuff.

"—The hell?" he mutters groggily, eyes narrowing as he directs a glare at the guy he's apparently been handcuffed to.

[ Trying out a new trick can sometimes be difficult. This particular trick, which involved handcuffs, isn't all that new and Trucy's done it on more than one occasion. Originally, she'd gone to the Prosecutor's Office to drop off something for Edgeworth via her father. But then she ran into a few people she knew; Klavier Gavin being one of them. He'd asked her to show him a trick, and so she did.

Unfortunately, this meant she needed a volunteer. And who better than Simon Blackquill? Of course, he was minding his own business at the time when she slapped a cuff to his wrist and then one to her own. By this time, there was a small group of people police and prosecutors alike, gathered to watch. And that's when everything went horribly wrong.

She's done this trick a few times. But the cuffs aren't coming off. At all. Of course, this might have gone better if she hadn't just sort of borrowed a pair from a random detective and had used her own. It also would have helped if the detective in question had the key on them. But they didn't, and that left Simon and Trucy in quite the predicament.

So here she sits, drumming the fingers of her free hand against his desk as they wait for someone to bring them the key that will free them. She's pretty sure once her dad catches wind of this, she's in deep trouble, and certainly Apollo and Athena will find it amusing... ]

...But on the bright side, at least we get to spend some quality time together!
