You know the trope. You probably know the song! No need to explain here. Now, you can play out your student/teacher desires!
"Student/teacher" is used very loosely here. You could play out someone getting with their tutor, a player wanting their coach, or even a person who's been lusting after somebody who taught them how to macramé.
Usually, a certain amount of ageplay is implied with student/teacher, but it's not necessary! Anyone can teach another person of the same age, after all.
Comment with your character and preferences. Be sure to be specific with said preferences by including exactly what side you want to play or some possible scenarios. How serious or dark or fluffy or sexy the threads are depend on you.
[ Argh! Sorry I missed this response, but if you're still interested? Boltie is a young Comic Book loving college kid easily led astray by people in costumes who do what they want. She can be excessively violent as well.]
[ oh my god yes, I need this more than I thought I would? normally i do not ship charles/students but jean is an exception because of their mind reading nnnghh yes please? private lessons would be perfect. ]
[ People keep so many secrets. It's something you don't understand entirely, not at first, because you're so caught up in your own world. Most people never leave theirs. They don't have to. But when Jean first started hearing the voices, whispers at first and then screams of the thoughts of those around her, she didn't have a choice. And it only got worse - at the beginning, she could accidentally put her own thoughts in their minds, too.
For a while, she felt like she could never have her own mind, her own self, again.
Then, she'd come to the Institute and learned just how many people were like her. All right, that wasn't entirely true. They weren't like her, not entirely, and her powers made them afraid - not too different from the scene back home. All except for one. The Professor understood. He had to, because they were alike, in their powers and in other ways. Of course, he was more experienced, more in control of his "gift," he called it. If he thought his abilities were a gift, maybe, then, her's weren't a curse. Or she could learn to make it that way, thanks to his special sessions with her.
Jean liked those the best of all her classes. She never had to worry about hurting anyone...or about anyone staring at her. She'd only have the full attention of one person, after all, the one person who's attention she liked more than she probably should.
Jean Grey kept secrets, too. She just always had to make sure they were pushed down far once a week when she went to the study for her private lesson. ]
[ if anyone knew what such a thing felt like, it was Charles Xavier.
he had done things like that since he was very small, been able to talk in someone else's head, hear them talk in his own. he'd long since realized that he was extraordinary, and thankfully, unlike others he had found, it was an invisible gift. nothing so simple as changing form, or prehensile feet.
but he knew more than anyone that the gift he had could also be a nightmare. he had lived years without his gift, seeing his body being able to function, his legs moving as more important than being able to use his abilities. that quickly became evident that he required his ability to be able to help others.
especially young Jean Grey. he saw himself in her in more ways than he felt comfortable, knowing full well she had her own difficulties with controlling her telepathy. he'd comforted her in nightmares and did whatever he could to make sure that she had the best defenses available when it came to being able to see inside her mind. it was more for his own benefit than for her own; when he was able to see so clearly, it was hard to control himself.
whenever he felt her inside his head, he forced his own mind to clear of any thoughts, a blank, white space, an open canvas that she couldn't perceive as threatening or slightly...confusing. ]
[Slightly late, but Karal has a bit of telepathy but his main power is the opposite of Rogue in that he boosts the powers of others but is completely unable to do anything himself. Kind of like a human cerebro, but with any mutant power. The poor young priest would probably end up at the Xavier Institute just to keep Magneto off his back with all the war-with-humanity speeches...
I do tend to play him as blind but I'm always willing to skip that if preferred.]
