[It's not that she's feeling particularly needy that day, or that he's ignoring her that drives her to do it. It's the exact opposite really, that they're always paying a little too much attention to one another. Constant teasing and pushing each others buttons is their form of flirting, but eventually it all becomes a bit too much. There's entirely too much wanting on her part, and not enough action. Which is exactly why she loses her patience one day and instead of approaching him with sharp words and a flirtatious grin, she corners him by using her incredibly tiny body but extremely large presence to get him against a wall. One arm reaches out, extending to press a hand against the wall next to him. Like it's actually going to keep him from moving away if he wants to.

Just in case he thinks this is just another verbal sparring match, she uses her free hand to press a finger against his chin, tipping his head downward so that it's easier for her to rise up on her tiptoes to kiss him. It isn't sweet or gentle, but even through all of the heat and hunger behind it, it's far from forceful. She doesn't want to force herself on him. Just up the ante of the game they're playing and see if he responds.]

( Caitlin had stayed. He'd given her the option to go, but in the end, she'd chosen him over the others. That in and of itself meant more to Hunter than he could properly put into words.

At first, he'd given her space to really adjust to the idea. To let it sink in that the world of nerdy jokes and chasing meta-humans for the good guys was over. It would be a shame, after all, to chase her away so soon and make good on the promise he'd made to treat her as he did them if she left him. And beyond that, it'd be a waste.

He'd whisked her off to a more comfortable place not long afterwards, a furnished apartment one of his many meta-human underlings had acquired from one of their victims. If she knew that much, she never said anything. And he hadn't bothered to explain. It wasn't important as far as he was concerned. As long as she was in a safe place, away from the Flash and his crew, that was all he cared about.

It was nearly a week after she'd made her decision that he'd acted. He'd returned to the apartment, pulling the dark mask and gloves off to set them aside as he ventured through the large space to find her. She was in the kitchen when he'd found her, and it was too easy to close the distance between them in a flash of blue lightning.

His hands closed on her as he pushed her against one of the walls in the kitchen, catching her wrists easily between his hands to pin them above her. With her pressed between him and the wall, he took a long moment to study her face with a dark curve of his lips. A look of curiosity and intent in his eyes before he ducked his head, pressing their lips together in a hard kiss. )
