The coffee pot had just finished brewing a pot of the Jamaican Blue Mountain blend Tim liked as Bart was chopping veggies for the morning's omelettes. He liked cooking, it was like chemistry, but you got to put art into it as well. Sure, he had a lot to do later, but he'd finished talking to his agent earlier about doing spots for track at the Rio Olympics, and there wasn't a whole lot left for him.

The accident that had left him with an artificial knee and off running was beginning to seem more and more like a blessing in disguise. Sure, he'd never have the lucrative contracts with only his World Games wins, but he felt like he did a lot more going around and talking to kids with Special Olympics, or in front of disadvantaged schools. Track and Field was never a glamorous sport, anyway, even for the former Fastest Man Alive.

"Breakfast is almost ready, and Lucius wanted to remind you that you're not due into the office until 11 for that meeting," he called out when he noticed Tim padding down the stairs.

[Who knows how it came to this. Alien masterminds creating an awesome spinoff of their magical boy reality show? Evil demons warping reality? Some idiot made a badly worded wish? Some unspecified thing from Yukikaze's canon because I know nothing about it? Whatever the cause, it's ensnared Yumoto pretty tightly.

The hyperactive blonde has no idea that his entire world has changed around him. He's always lived in a normal apartment, went to a normal high school, and lived with his normal brother, Yukikaze. He is still wearing the lovracelet though. Who or whatever was the cause of this couldn't get it off him. They may have made other mistakes...

But enough about that.
