[Well... Junkrat's been out wandering. For scrap. That's kinda what he does with his life. Even during the vague ceasefire he and Hog have been part of; grouping up with old Overwatch members and supposed terrorists and all that mess. Who gives a toss. They're in some unfamiliar, foreign territory this week and he's lost. It starts raining. Junkrat is poorly-clothed for bad weather. It takes him maybe an hour of trudging uselessly in the dark until he sees a... house.
Not really a house, just one of those outer bases some of the "team" (he was never gonna see 'em as real allies, but he could hang around long enough to try to squeeze a payment for his incredible secret out--) chose to bunk in.
Junkrat hobbles up to the door and starts knocking furiously, trying not to shiver. It's cold. He's a damned drowned rat. Here's hoping the dim light inside means someone's actually home.]

[The one doing the thanking.]
(ooc: I'm dying for a new Clint to play with, and this meme fits them so well. so any non-canon compliant Clints wanna play?)
[Bridget is an alien princess with some of the traits of a vampire without the blood drinking who's been around for around 1300 years. I could certainly see possible 3, 4, 6/7 with maybe 10, 11, 14, 15, or 19/20. Or other random mixes are certainly worth considering! Though if Bridget is the one to pick up T'Challa that would be a different set of scenarios. Ironically, it would be his Black Panther persona that would draw her interest at first since Bridget has a preference towards cats.]
[ mostly playing from s1 right now. probably the one taken in, but the other way around isn't impossible. ]
[Likely the one taking someone in, crosscanon is a-ok here!]
[Most likely the one taken in. Though I can go with him being the one taking somebody in, if preferred.]
[The one who was taken in.]
[Either!]

[The apartment is tiny.
One bedroom, one bathroom, and a small living area attached to an even smaller kitchen. Even out here in a snowy Canadian town away from most of civilization, it's the best he can afford on his meager salary as a waiter in the local diner.
There are actually quite a few mutants living there, on the fringe of society. Some are like him, ones who ran away from home after their powers developed, while others simply preferred the relative anonymity that was impossible to find in the cities. The humans accepted them well enough, at least to the extent that no one picked fights based on identity alone.
He first found Logan trekking through town, looking like he'd been living in the wilderness. After serving him some coffee they'd gotten to chatting, and after a few more similar visits, Jack offered to let him move in as a roommate.
They're both hanging around the diner after closing, Logan in a booth with his coffee while Jack sits on the table in front of him. It's been a quiet day, with the exception a few new mutants stopping recently for a quick bite to eat. Funny how they'd kept glancing at Logan, though Jack quickly forgot about them, more interested in heading home for the night after his shift.]
I'm telling you, the weatherman is wrong about the blizzard starting tonight! It'll be tomorrow morning, right after I get to work. Just you wait.

[I can play her as human and/or aged up as necessary! Not interested in prompts #13 or #22. Cross-canon and gen threads welcome, and I'm good with either role.]
[ m/m for shippy, ota if you want to go a platonic angle ]
You're going to pop the stitch again.
[ It isn't easy taking care of someone who doesn't want to be cared for, but on the other hand... well, it's not like the kid is opening up about anywhere else he can go. Or people he might trust. Or anything, really. Junior isn't at his wit's end, but sometimes he does wonder what it would be like if the authorities could get involved or medical professionals weren't quacks in general. Hard to trust.
As it is, he's got his hands full of this strange teenager but at least it's mostly under control. If he would just stop being so... teenagery and reckless, that'd be great. ]
