Good NIGHT, Sleep TIGHT ( a cozy smut meme ) Sleep. That's it, that's the meme. You're getting snug as a bug in a rug, ready for beg. Oh, but there is a hitch. Somebody's in your bed - and, to be fair, they are invited. Probably. Whether you always sleep together (no, not that way) or this is a one off, two tucked in can pose completely different logistics than a solo snoozer. Which of you hogs the covers, because there's always a cover hog? You know it's true. But barring all that, tonight, you are sleeping together (yes, that way). It could be what you do every night; in contrast, they could just be here, so why not (?). Maybe you both ended up together and need to have sex to stay warm or survive or something equally contrived. One of you could be wearing a sexy negligee, or maybe you guys have done it in a while and need to relight the spark or make up for arguments. You could even have some kinky roleplay in mind! Doesn't matter, having sex. And then, you'll get to cuddle up together! Right? Riiiiiiight? ( it's a quiet admission, but one that has matt half-grinning all the same. multiple sleepovers have taught him saya gets embarrassed whenever matt points that out, but matt's said it once and he'll say it again if he has to: if saya doesn't want him to say so, then he's just got to wake up earlier than him. or, you know, bring his own futon, but matt's not going to ever say that out loud--not when saya makes sleeping more comfortable than not. )

It was South who had dared Wash to do this, though he was secretly grateful. It meant he could blame it on a drunken dare should it go to hell. So he walks over to York's bed. By the other man's breathing he's guessing York isn't exactly asleep. So he kneels by the side of the bed, leaning over and kisses York on the lips. He knows he himself still tastes of booze, and together with the fact that at this point he's wearing only his underwear (damn, South being good at poker) he hopes it won't be too unpleasant of a surprise.

It's nice to sleep next to Tony. It provides a sense of safety, of security, that he hadn't had in a while, and Tony's arm draped over him (yes, he is the little spoon) only adds to that sense. It's strange - this is the first time - but he likes it.

He rolls over, still under Tony's arm, and gives him a gentle kiss. Whether it wakes him up or not, he's happy.

Getting stateside was always the real close to any mission. It was an end to nights spent in motels that all started to blur together after a while, like some kind of strange traveling vortex of rooms that all had the same sort of decoration and terrible pillows. Jack is used to it, and he doesn't generally complain, but coming back to things more familiar was nice. It meant they made it back in the first place.

'They' being Jack and his partner. Daniel Kinney was impossible sometimes, but coming home with him was one of the better parts of this job. Even if he was incredibly fidgety sleeping on the plane flight back.

"I think I might pass out for a few hours," he says, dropping his bag in the bedroom. "You?"
