In the Strangest of Places

It's no paradise you live in. Tensions are constantly high, danger may be just around the corner, and your well-executed plans more often than not fail. Whether it be a war-torn world, a time of political discord, or merely (merely?) the situation you find yourself in by being you, there's one thing not on your mind: love.

That all changes once you see them, and your life is changed. As you get to know this person, survival or success seems to no longer be your only concern. Your world is molding, shifting, integrating them into your priorities. What will you do when you realize this? Accept it with gusto and hope to be with them forever? Distance yourself because you cannot be distracted?
