Obsessed love. You are obsessed with this person to the point that it is dangerous, unhealthy and absolutely insane; you want them to be with you, you, you, you, and only you, and nothing is going to stand in your way. No one is going to hurt your love - in fact, no one is going to come near your love. And if they say they don't love you? They will. You'll make them. Because you're meant to be together, and you're going to be together, forever and ever and ever. Married married married~

Fairy tale love. You're convinced that this person is your prince or princess! Your true love! The one that you're destined to be with! And they know it too -- at least, they should. You must woo them, court them, try to convince them that you two were meant to dance with fuzzy adorable mascot animals and have a big wedding together! If they don't love you? They must be under a spell from an evil witch, or something! They do say that true love's kiss breaks solves all.

Cute love. It is adorable, and sweet, and innocent. You want to hold hands and exchange chocolates and pretty cards and take long walks on the beach and talk about your future and your kids and aaaaw. It's just like you're in a G-rated Disney movie! You just want your True Love(TM) to be happy, and to know that you love them very much. ;u;

School Kid Crush love. You're apt to pass love notes and stalk admire your crush from afar. They're so cool and suave, and you're just little old you... but you just can't seem to stop thinking about them and scribbling their name into your notebook! Nervous, nervous, nervous. Ohhh, they're looking at you. How embarrassing! It's almost like they can tell how you feel about them!

five.
Love/hate. Of course you love them, but you're way too shy to admit that! Things like that are embarrassing, damn it! You'll yell and flail and hit the love of your life, but it's just because you're not sure how to show that you love them. I mean, you'll still be awfully upset if they try to leave you, or if they don't understand, or they don't want to kiss you... But there's no way you'll say "I love you"!! ... Sexy love. Maybe there's some love hidden deep down somewhere, but that's not the priority here; first thing's first is that man needs to take his clothes off right now. You don't want to talk about your house and your white picket fence and your 2.5 kids; you just want to touch that person now, and you'll think about the rest in the morning. Kissing and contact and maybe a little lovin' are what you want, and nothing is going to stop you. No means yes. For underage characters (and those of us who w-would rather not write sexy things), kisses and flirting are all you need.

Extreme love. You have to impress the object of your affections, before they're stolen away by some fool! You can do anything when it comes down to showing how much you love this person, even if it means spending all your savings on them, buying nice things that they don't actually need. You're so overcome by your love for them, that's all that matters! You'll definitely win them over with your amazing shows of love and prowess!

nine.
Melodramatic love. This is very important and you know you're rushing things a little but this love was meant to be!! Your love life is suddenly a Shakespearean tragedy, complete with dramatic plot twists and turns, and you need to confess your love to the world before it's too late! There's no time to lose; in the morning, you're going to be exiled, your love is going to be hanged, your mother will be shot, your father will become a pirate and someone will kick your puppy!! For bonus points, speak in terrible, hilarious, terrible prose.

ten.
Possessive & Manipulative love. You want this person, need them, want to own them -- but things don't seem to be going as planned. They keep looking at other people and talking to other people... it doesn't matter if they feel the same way, you'll force them into doing what you want them to do. You'll manipulate the situation. You'll manipulate their feelings until they are utterly yours, and can no longer deny that they belong to you. Cold and calculating, you'll get what you want.

(Robin knew it wasn't right, knew he hadn't literally crossed over in quite some time -or noticed her not crossing over as well, considering what had happened before- but now, he decided it would be worth the risk.

She'd do the same for him if she knew what he'd endured.

He'd managed to fashion a dimensional device with the help of other heroes with more brains than his combined, though he did have a say in the look and whatnot, and soon found himself in a much different New York than the one he was used to. Why? There weren't any Superman memorabilia in this one. Now, it was only a matter of tracking her down.)

[ Dimensional fluctuations. That's what Hank had said. Supposedly, it wasn't even the fault of Reed Richards this time. Meaning that all of the superheroes of New York were out looking to find out what is going on.

Jubilee is only out because she and Scott had been headed for another fight and getting her out of the Mansion had just been a good idea for everyone involved - especially poor Forge who had to fix the Danger Room everytime they fought.

Sighing, she adjusts her sunglasses and stops, seeing someone that she never thought she'd see again.

Eeling through the crowd, she reaches out a hand for him. ]

(Like a jab to the face, quick and sudden. That's how it felt to him too, once he saw her from the shadows and chose to wait until she was mostly alone to reveal himself. His costume was very different from the last few times she'd seen him, more black & red than green & yellow, but overall the look was the same.

When she reached out for him, he waited until she was a heartbeat or two away before doing likewise, gripping her hand with his own before nodding.)

[ She doesn't know what she expected. However, seeing Tim in New York is definitely not what she expected. She slips her hand into his and gently tugs him toward the closest alley.

She stops, staring at him. She's genuinely surprised to see him. It had been said that they shouldn't cross universes again, or something bad would happen. (Not that bad things haven't happened anyway...)

She cannot believe it! ]

What are you doing here? How did you get here?

I had to see you, wanted to see...how you were doing.

(Had to see if you were still alive, hung on the tip of his tongue. He'd lost too much in seemingly the blink of an eye, and the one bright spot was the one girl who could literally shoot fireworks from her hands.

At hearing her latter question, he allowed a faint grin to be seen as he held up his left arm to reveal a miniature-like watch around his wrist.)

Dimensional transporter. Can send you from one universe to the other, with one catch: both worlds have to have the same signature and the same type of resonance.

(A beat, then he translated.) Basically, I gotta make sure both our worlds have the same city otherwise I can't cross over. So if you wanted to see me in Gotham, you'd first have to jump over into our New York, and then make the trip via the freeway. Or plane. Or even a dune buggy.

Or I could just steal a car.

But she cannot believe he's here. After the death of Ev, and then the crucifixion, she hadn't really thought about him much. He's someone she always will remember, but saving the world had come first.

She finally lets go of his hand and just hugs him. ]

I'm so glad to see you. We knew something dimensional had happened, but were going to blame it on Richards, again.

True. I'd make sure you returned it, though.

(Better him than Batman, after all. He accepts the hug in kind, returning it and not pulling away. Tim really needed this familiarity, and much like Jubilee he'd never forget her. But saving Gotham and the world -his anyway- was top priority.)

Who's to say you can't still blame him for it? Aside from you, no one else knows I intentionally came here to find you. Speaking of which...are you free right now?

[ Returning a stolen car... nope. Never happened.

She just hugs him, her head on his shoulder. Sometimes, people just need hugs. She's a firm believer in that. ]

As funny as it is when Richards gets blamed for everything, his wife scares me.

[ She will do a great many things to keep Sue Richards from being mad at her. Up to and including babysitting. ]

Let me call in, and then I'm all yours, okay?

(He maintains the hug a little longer, just taking in her scent while laughing lightly at her comment about Richards' wife. Part of Tim couldn't help but wonder between her and Batman who'd be the scariest.

(He pulls back and seemingly melds into the alleyway, but once she was finished he'd reappear like he hadn't left.)

[Sue Richards can make Magneto sit down and be quiet. She wins everything. Batman? Not so much.

Jubilee calls in. She snaps at whoever is on the other side of the conversation that she's no longer a kid and can handle herself.

Eventually, she just hangs up in annoyance. ]

Tim? C'mon, let's get some food.

[ Jubilee loves food. ]

(In the time it took for Jubilee to make the call, take care of business -to a point anyway- and hang up, Tim's made sure to blend in while not standing out too much as a hero.

How? He was able to literally drive to Jubilee's world in style, and thankfully the alleyway's just wide enough for the car to fit in as she'll notice when the headlights flash on.

He's pretty sure they won't have to beat up people tonight, right?)

[ Jubilee is officially off duty now. She annoyed people and got told to take the night off. She had no problems with that, though she'd eventually have to take Tim back to the Mansion. Explain herself and all that. ]

[ She's appreciative, as she climbs in easily. Then she takes a deep breath. Leaning over, she kisses Tim. ]

How long can you stay? If you go three blocks up, there's a Chinese place that makes decent food.

Thanks. Since I was in the car, it made the trip with me. I call her the Redbird.

(While he didn't expect the kiss, even though he should've, he doesn't pull back.)

Not needed back home right away, so I can stay a while if I have to. (A beat, then he grins.) Chinese, huh? There orange chicken in this world too?

[ She's not sure she likes the name. But, whatever. It's been too long since she'd been around Tim. So much had happened... But, not dealing with that now. ]

Mmm you want orange chicken, we should head into Chinatown, but greasy bad for you Chinese is just up the street.

I was 14 when I first got her, alright? And I was in the suit you said was good 'fashion sense.'

(Tim had been through a lot too, hence the trade-up to a red/black costume motif. But any history lessons could wait until they were eating Chinese.)

I think I can handle a drive into Chinatown. It can't be any different than the Chinatown back home.
