1. Feeling Strange: You've known this person your entire life, yet lately you've been feeling...different about them. These feelings aren't exactly familial, either.
2. Not as Normal Families: Whatever the specifics of the case may be, your childhood was not the norm, and thus the two of you have grown close that way.
3. Raised Apart: Scientists believe that when siblings are raised together under normal circumstances, they will not find each other sexually attractive; however, if they are reared apart, they may be highly attracted to each other when they meet as adults.
4. Only Kin by Name: Psuedo-incest between step siblings or adopted siblings is not quite as taboo, but you could still be looked down upon for harboring those desires for someone who is a member of your family by one way or another.
5. Defender: One of you is older and has always looked after the other, meaning that something has grown between you that is thicker than any blood.
6. Guilty: You feel terrible for these longings toward your own flesh and blood, and you do your best to stop them. But can you choose who you want to be with? And how disciplined are you when it's someone you care for in other ways?

Sansa had never been close with Jon when they were children. She'd never even been particularly kind. But Jon had always been good to her no matter how she treated him. He was very much a Stark in that way. Noble, honorable, and just. The circumstances of his birth could no longer detract from that in Sansa's eyes.

She hadn't meant for anything to happen between them. It was just that she had been so long without her family, without anyone whom she could truly trust, that she was practically starving for affection. She could only imagine how it must have been for Jon, to spend his whole life longing for his family's love, or even their acceptance. She wanted to make it up to him in any way that she could. With embroidered gifts, and kind words; gentle touches, and a warm embrace from time to time. It seemed so innocent at first, to slip into his room, into his arms. When she was alone, the nightmares plagued her. But with Jon, she felt safe.

And then, one night, she began to see him, not just as a brother, but as a man. A man with needs as deep and aching as her own.

Though he knew Ramsay only by reputation, that was more than enough to turn Jon's stomach and swear him to enmity forever, not only for having taken his family's home but even moreso for the pain visited upon his sister.

He'd always considered Sansa to be his sister, no matter how coolly she might have treated him in the past. As he'd told her, they were children then, and though the disdain stung, he had never felt moved to shut her out of his heart completely. When she'd arrived, it was as though a part of his heart had been restored, and he knew there was nothing between them any longer but love.

So he had no reason to deny her the comfort of the warm, sure presence of a brother sworn to protect her and keep her safe, not when he saw the pale, haunted face that entered his chambers at night. Jon pushed away and tried to ignore the way he reacted to Sansa's soft curves and warm breath against him.

Holding her, Sansa's head upon his chest, Jon glanced at the door to his chambers to see them firmly locked. He crooked a finger under his sister's chin and lifted her face so he could see it more clearly. Jon nearly trembled as he lost himself in her eyes, trying desperately not to want what he wanted.

Sansa's breath caught in her throat as she met Jon's eyes, her heart beating wildly in her chest. It frightened her, to see her feelings, her desires reflected in his eyes, but at the same time it warmed and thrilled her--and she would not look away. She wanted to be whole again. To love, and to feel that love returned was all she'd ever wanted. Where else could she expect to find it in truer form? Who else could she trust to love her, scars and all?

She swallowed, and licked her lips in nervous anticipation.

"Please," she whispered, not quite sure what she was asking for. Only that she wanted it from him, and no one else.

With a single word, Jon's world stopped. Although what it was that he was offering or that Sansa was asking of him was never said, the warm swell in his chest made him certain that it would not need to be. Indeed, if ether of them might have said their desires aloud, they could have been too frightened to pursue them.

But with looks and touches, it was clear enough for Jon.

Leaning down, he pressed his lips to Sansa's, a kiss of love and a promise of protection, not only from a brother to his sister, but from a man to a woman he desired.

As their lips met, Sansa's breath escaped her in a soft sigh, trusting herself to Jon's protection and care. Her arms went round him, fingers threading through his hair as she leaned into the kiss, nervous still but hungry for his touch. Eager to show him the same love in return.

Jon's free hand moved downwards until he had an arm around Sansa's waist, drawing her up and closer, into a more comfortable position. Now he could feel more of her body pressed tightly to his as his mouth worked gently but without hesitation against hers. He flicked his tongue across her lips, testing.

Sansa parted her lips at Jon's silent request, inviting him to explore her mouth. Pressed against him as she was, she coukd feel the firmness of his body, his arms strong from training with the sword, and the bow, and she felt a thrill run through her body; knowing that she was safe, and wanted. She was a little bit worried that she wouldn't be any good at kissing, having very little real practice, but she didn't let that stop her from trying. She wanted to please him, and to learn what might please her as well.

If there was any fault in Sansa's kisses, Jon gave no indication. And if he felt like analyzing it, he would be more than satisfied by how she made up for technique with enthusiasm-- likely much as he had at first.

She tasted sweet to him, with something stronger underneath, which a more poetic soul would have noted was a good description of Sansa herself. And as he felt her gentle curves move against his harder form, he wondered if she had started to feel his reaction.

Plus, we could go with the idea that she became a reaper in her own "afterlife" so the whole undead thing isn't really an issue.]
