[It's stupid. It's so, so stupid for him to be doing this, but Dick's got at least a reasonably good feeling that the gorgeous redhead hitting on him isn't a psychopath. And he's mostly right when he gets that feeling.]

[She moves to cross her leg over her knee, brushing her foot against his thigh as she does.]

[The small touch is somehow enough to give Dick a little shiver, but at this point he's not too surprised. The woman radiates a sexual energy and being him, he's picking up on it hard.]

I hope I'm up to it. [He stands and throws a few bills on the bar counter.] I'm Dick.

[She can't help the way her lips twitch up into a smile at that. She's been hanging around Barton and Stark too often.]

[Hotels kept it ambiguous. There was no need for one person to lay territorial claim over it. They would both be leaving whenever they felt. Made it clear from the start that it was a casual instance.]

[With a last grin, she turns to head for the exit, expecting him to follow not far behind.]

[Dick does just that, following close until they get outside, when he takes the lead and brings her to his motorcycle, handing her the helmet. He swings a leg over the bike and settles in.] Ready when you are.

[She gives it a dubious look, moving in to throw a leg over the bike behind him, her dress hitching up high on her thighs as she does. She holds the helmet in one hand, her other sliding around his side until she can get a grip on him.]

[There really is no substitute for the feel of a girl's arm around you when riding, Dick thinks to himself, gunning the engine to life. The bike peels out into the street, and he skillfully slides into traffic.]

[Her grip is firm, but not like she was clutching at him in fear of falling off. Nat was pretty comfortable on a bike, and he might notice that if he took any turns; her body moved the way it should for an experienced rider.]

[Oh, he notices. Given who raised and trained him, Dick tries very hard to notice everything. Not only is the woman more than comfortable riding a motorcycle, she anticipates his more dangerous maneuvers as though she rode under the same... stressful... conditions he sometimes did. Interesting.

The trip to the hotel takes just minutes.]

[When they pull up, she takes a moment to just enjoy the feel of the rumbling motor between her legs and his body against her chest before she relaxes her grip and moves to get off. She tosses him the helmet with a wink.]

I'll go check us in.

[Dick nods, sets the helmet on the back of the bike and slips the valet a few large bills to keep his motorcycle right near the door. When he walks into the lobby, he stands and waits for her to finish up at the front desk, bouncing just a little on the balls of his feet. Dick's not nervous, he's just lousy at standing still.]

[They're signed in quickly enough under Nat's alias, the keycard being slid over to her with a discreet nod from the clerk. She takes it and gestures towards the elevators.]

Tenth floor. Need anything from room service?

[He punches the up button and leans against the wall between the elevator doors. Dick shakes his head.]

Not that I can think of. Unless you're thinking we need water. Or Gatorade.

[Dick pauses. Casual hookups are one thing, but this woman is interviewing him for something really interesting.]

[She held a hand up, both defensively and to show she wasn't a threat.]
