Let's be real: Iron Bull and the Chargers were awake and they totally heard Lioriley screaming from the tower. Rumors will spread regardless of who does or does not find them in the morning. And she honestly doesn't care either.

"Agreed." She chuckles, raising his hand to her lips so she can kiss the knuckles and then once again guide him toward the ladder.

[revocation]

Okay, probably. But at least Iron Bull is a decent person. The teasing from that quarter will be friendly.

"I love you," he points out as she's climbing the ladder. And then he realizes how that can be construed, as he looks up at her. "I'm not just saying that because of the view."

[invigorates]

Friendly and congratulatory, no doubt.

She stops midway up the ladder, glancing back down to him, "Are you certain it is not?" She laughs, shaking her head as she continues on her way. It's once he's joined her in the loft proper that she properly returns his affectionate comment, "I love you, too."

Oh yes. Cullen is fully expecting a hearty slap on the back, any day now.

"Come here," he murmurs with a smile, tugging her right onto the bed with him. "It was only partially the view."

He doesn't have to tell her twice. Lioriley easily lets herself be scooped into his arms and, subsequently, into his bed. She's quick to clamber atop him, kissing his jaw gently, "I know. Though I am glad you enjoy the view regardless."

Cullen smiles, tracing a finger down her neck, to her shoulder. "Mm. It's very nice."
