TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.

⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.

⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → The snow's falling, the cold's increasing, and you can't feel your limbs.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.

The short display is enough, and Genji can clearly imagine what Dr. Ziegler would have to say to him for letting someone who has just been tortured fight. Genji steps back over in the brief time the man is stunned by the elbow to his face and makes short work of him with his blade. The follow-up motion he uses to sever the remaining restraints and leave the chair in pieces before he eases it back into its sheath in a move that is far slower and louder than strictly necessary.

"They will notice my intrusion soon enough. We will be gone by the time they do." Genji's tone leaves no room for argument. There will be time for talk once they are out. Coming back will not be as easy a second time, and he suspects their guard was a little lax due to having recently dealt with a single intruder.

76 is momentarily reminded of why it's nice to have some kind of very large, very sharp cutting implement on hand. If it had been a wooden chair, the whole ordeal would've been over before it even began, but the media has widely picked up on his enhancements, which means the thugs knew better than to restrain him against something easily broken. He shakes off the rest of the straps and fully stands, taking a moment to check himself for the worst of his injuries. They've taken his jacket and body armor, and there are darker stains that can only be blood on the short-sleeved undershirt he wears beneath it.

So the sword was nice, he guesses, and he offers a sort of half-growl of acknowledgement that's probably supposed to be a thanks. What he doesn't particularly care for is the we, like this is now a partnership and that they'll be leaving together. It's not, and they won't, and 76 is quick to make his way to the table where they tossed his gear. There's a sway in his step. He clutches his side and growls again.

"Who sent you?"

It's entirely possible Genji is here of his own accord, but 76 kind of doubts that. His answer will at least give him a little more context, even if it's not the truth.

Genji takes the opportunity to study 76, the way he stands and moves, the bloodstains on his clothing. He's clearly in no condition to put up a real fight, so Genji steps in closer. Close enough to deflect a few shots if they get unexpected company, or to catch 76 if he falls. In his head Genji is going over the layout he's seen so far. Going back the way he came in would be far too indirect even if the other man were in any condition to attempt the necessary acrobatics.

"My business here is my own. I was not sent," he says, his face directed towards the door rather than his former associate. They need not escape as quietly as Genji entered. The defenses here are meant to keep people out rather than in. It is entirely possible he will regret intervening here, some day in the future, but it would have been a greater mistake not to act.

He doesn't dignify that with an answer, too preoccupied with making sure all of his belongings are intact. 76 isn't sure he believes that, anyway. Even if Genji did send himself, there are a variety of reasons why he'd come here in the first place.

Utility belt, then jacket, then harness and holsters, then he starts looking for his weapons. Luckily, they didn't take them far, and it lets him put some distance between himself and Genji to boot. He knows time is of the essence, but he risked too much to get his hands on his rifle to leave without making sure it isn't damaged. The weight is comfortable in his hands and it's a good distraction from both pain and the presence of someone else in the room.

76 knows that there will be an attempt to stop him, but he starts to leave anyway--not in the direction Genji seemingly plans to go.

The fact that 76 starts walking off, in the wrong direction no less, is not unexpected, but it is exasperating, and draws a few choice words from him in Japanese. Genji leaves his weapons where they are, though his machine-enhanced reflexes and the shuriken loader in his arm mean he is always quick on the draw. "Even you have your limits. I do not wish to worsen your injuries by removing you from here against your will, but I did not halt what I was doing to free you merely to see you recaptured or dead."

It would have been easier if he'd left 76 tied to the chair. He wasn't the strongest, but it wouldn't be completely unmanageable. Allowing him to re-arm and armor himself had been an attempt at showing good faith. Perhaps he should have simply taken the gear and trusted that to be enough to cause 76 to pursue him out along the correct path until he collapsed. He gives 76 a little more space, but not enough to get away from him.

Augmented or not, things like this are becoming increasingly difficult to bounce back from, at least in the short term. He used to be able to do it much faster--a testament to how old he is, or just a side effect of getting blown up back in HQ. 76 can try to play it off, but he knows full well that Genji is perceptive. He wouldn't expect anything less than this insistence, and he wishes he could trust it, but he doesn't know where they stand.

"Didn't ask you to step in."

He'll maintain that he had (and continues to have) everything under control.

"I'll take it from here."

"I am not turning you in. Not this time," Genji isn't inclined to do something so permanent, even with the actions 76 has been taking. Not with everything else going on in the world. Things are becoming more chaotic when they should have been peaceful. Genji keeps pace a few more steps then speeds up to move in front of 76. They have wasted enough time on his pride and suspicion.

"We are leaving now. I will not say it again." He holds out a hand, the other in position to go for a sword if needed. Even injured, at range 76 could give him trouble. This close the advantage is his. He has been more than reasonable, and further delay puts them both at risk.

The expression on his face, though indiscernible through the mask, is most certainly furious, and he hopes Genji can pick up on that. This is not how he wants to leave, but he's stubborn, not stupid, and he knows when to stop wasting time.

"There's a back way."

Just in case Genji thought he'd lost his sense of direction, or something.

"Come on."

Reading body language is something Genji was taught as a child. Having his face often hidden and being around people whose faces are hidden, or incapable of facial expression as Omnics are, has made him even more adept at studying body language.

He's willing to concede that 76 may know more of the layout of this place than he does, so he steps aside. But since they're going into territory he doesn't know and hasn't cleared, he slides a trio of shuriken out of his fore-arm and into his right hand with a quick movement and heads towards the door 76 was clearly going for.

76 pushes on in spite of, well, everything. Now that they have a mission, however, it's pointless to direct his anger at Genji, so he focuses it on navigating the corridors to the aforementioned back way. Genji's right in that he knows the layout--the only thing that keeps him from navigating with ease is the poor shape he's in.

Still, he moves as quickly and quietly as he can, rifle at the ready in case they cross paths with more thugs, barely checking to see if Genji is behind him.

Even in the shape he's in, the way 76 moves and operates is very familiar. There are differences beyond those that can be accounted for injuries, changes due to time and demeanor. Once they are no longer indoors Genji shuts off the green light that emits from his armor and moves in close. "Sentries?" He asks softly.

If they do expect any fighting on their way out, Genji would prefer to take them out quietly.

76 comes to a stop, knowing that they've been lucky so far. It's only a matter of time before someone realizes what's happened, and then the whole complex will be on alert. Ideally, they'll be out and long gone before that happens, but it seems there's one more obstacle.

He holds up a hand to make sure that Genji doesn't take another step, but the cyborg already seems to have noticed them. 76 doesn't say anything, only indicates where they are with his index finger--one, two, three. Easy enough to take out, and he doesn't need to say that it's Genji's job. His own weapon makes far too much noise.

This is all uncomfortably familiar. Him leading, directing, even as injured as he is. It doesn't matter if he has one agent or an entire squad; 76 fits back into the role far too easily for his own liking, and Genji's not stupid. He must be picking up on it, too.

Genji silently gives his acknowledgement and moves ahead to a corner where he can get sight. Their attention should be outward most of the time, and spends a moment plotting his path. A quick, silent move over to a shipping container and up its side followed by a jump he never could have made while wholly organic. The one closest to them is taken out with his blade, he'd be the one to see if either of the other two were taken out. The others he hits with a volley of shuriken each.

He doesn't miss that there are dark stains in the area that look only partially dried, and bullet and blast marks. There's no time to stop and count how many deaths he can spot. Genji moves back to where he can be seen by 76 and signals him with the gestures he learned during his time in Overwatch almost without thinking of the choice in hand movements. Rather than turn his attention away as he would have then, trusting the one he signaled to come up he watches with half his attention.

More out of concern for 76's continued mobility and ability to remain upright than any worry he'll shoot or attempt to leave. Genji takes the moment to activate the reloading mechanism in his artificial arm to put more shuriken at his disposal. The moment when success seemed nearest was often the moment people put their guard down.

All he can really do is sit tight and trust that Genji knows what he's doing--which of course he does. It gives him a moment to breathe, try to pinpoint exactly where and how badly he's hurt through the adrenaline. He stands quietly and listens. Genji's harder to see without that telltale green glow, but his tac visor locks onto movement and he gets the signal.

Someone untrained wouldn't think twice, but those are specific hand movements and they give him a moment of pause. Luckily, they're not unique enough that one might assume ties to Overwatch just from knowing how to respond, but he catches it. He's not quite sure how to feel.

With the way clear, 76 works his way across the space, sticking to the shadows of shipping containers and corners until he's step for step with Genji.

"Right through there."

Then they can talk, if that's what the cyborg wants so badly.

The momentary pause could be for a number of reasons, so Genji can't directly attribute it to his choice of hand-sign. With the way clear of sentries they're free to leave, and after a safe enough distance Genji flicks his wrist to hide the shuriken away again. It's a little after that when they're almost out of ear shot that sounds of commotion go up. The old industrial area is hardly populated, and it's a maze of abandoned buildings and alley ways.

He would prefer to put more distance behind them, but he's also concerned about 76, so once he's sure they won't be bothered he stops. "Sit. Allow me to take a look." He expects to be refused, but Genji is still undecided on his next course of action. For now, performing a bit of triage fits with all the options he has before him.

76 is more than content to keep pressing on despite the growing ache of bruises. He's silent as they finally reach what could potentially be considered safety, an alcove tucked away behind more shipping containers, up against a smaller warehouse. He takes the lead again, but is quick to turn when Genji tells him he should stop.

"Always this altruistic?"

His body language is still aggressive and he doesn't seem to want to let go of his gun. 76 says it with no small amount of suspicion in his voice--because this is suspicious. Nothing about this can possibly be a coincidence, and now that they're out of immediate danger, the hostility bubbles up again.

"You got something to say, you better make it quick."

In his position, this close to ex-Overwatch, he can't afford to let his guard down, even if the intentions are really and truly good. It's unfortunately the thanks Genji gets.

"This is not entirely altruism, and you know it," Genji said. While he was much more willing to help people out, 76 was not clearly in the category of 'being deserving of rescue for the sake of it' as most people were in Genji's mind. Genji doesn't approve of 76's methods, but he is not willing to wholly condemn him either. There are too many questions about the end of Overwatch and events since then. Genji watched his brother spend years laboring under an entirely incorrect worldview.

"There is too much going on around the remains of Overwatch and in places where Overwatch took action. Everything has been given public explanation, and unofficial ones as well, but I am not satisfied." Genji still held some loyalty to the people he'd once fought beside, but his actions would be decided based on what he chose, and not anyone else. To choose correctly, he needed to know and understand. The world had been busy while he was finding inner peace, and coming to embrace his unique gifts as a cyborg.

He knows it all too well. So maybe Genji was tipped off that he was there. 76 keeps his eyes trained on those shuriken loaders, for any minute twitch of motion that might indicate he's about to be brought in.

"You're not gonna find answers with me."

Because he's still looking for them himself, though he has his fair share of suspicions and theories. Besides, he's already been interrogated tonight and gave up nothing. 76 hefts his gun, glad for the visor that hides his wince as he feels a sharp pain in his side. Ribs, probably.

Genji lets out a slightly exasperated noise as 76 moves his rifle, but does not go for his weapons. The patience he learned from Zenyatta is coming in handy here. Previously he would not have been nearly so calm and it certainly would have come to blows by now. For that matter he could have just restrained him further and removed him that way. Perhaps that would have been simpler.

He's tempted to ask if 76 plans to go after that trafficking group again, but expects he'll get about as much answer to that as he has to anything else. Genji steps forward, tense and ready to go for his sword.

The truth is that he doesn't want to throw down at all, and isn't really in the shape for it right now. Genji would mop the floor with him, injured and exhausted as he is, so when the cyborg looks like he's readying his sword, 76 lets out a kind of exasperated grumble. He's become more self-aware in later years, but whether it's a matter of Overwatch's fall forcing him to face his own limitations or just a fact of getting older is something he can't be bothered to decide.

"I'm not fighting you, kid," he says, like the age of someone who's mostly robot is at all discernible. "I'm just going to go."

Still, there's warning in his voice, mostly to imply that Genji shouldn't try and stop him. He lets his rifle rest against his shoulder and pivots, seemingly to leave, but stops mid-maneuver. Genji honestly doesn't owe him anything, but he asks one question anyway.

"Did you answer that recall?"

The question itself is telling, in his eyes. There is a simple answer to that question, but it doesn't really embody the decisions he's made. "It was not the call of Overwatch that drew me, but the people I know to be good. I shared some of the same concerns they had. Right now, I have my own matters to attend. In the future... who can say?"

Winston is far too attached to an idealized version of what Overwatch was, to camaraderie that Genji never really participated in. "I intend to see that trafficking ring disbanded. I do not wish to see my efforts against them hindered by accident." Both of them trying to operate in the same area could be problematic, but he doesn't expect 76 to let this go.

76 didn't actually get the recall--there was nowhere to send it, after all, even if Winston made a deliberate effort to contact the dead (but why would he). Still, he happened upon evidence of it fairly quickly as soon as he started hitting old Watchpoints. He knows it was a question that might compromise something on his end, but he supposes it's really not out of the question that he's heard about the recall, given the fact that he's digging through Overwatch facilities anyway.

There's no solid proof. That's what matters.

"I got what I came here for. They're yours."

It's not ideal and he'd rather not leave before he puts a stop to the operation, but he has data drives from the complex in his pocket and plenty of other things he can take care of in plenty of other places. This can be his one concession, because he really does owe Genji for that rescue. It had been an embarrassing slip-up anyway, and his sticking around will only complicate things.

That is mildly unexpected. Genji nods, and takes a step back. He's going to tail 76, because not tailing him would just be a waste of an opportunity no matter what Genji ultimately decides. And he's not yet convinced that 76 won't just collapse. But for now he continues to back away. 76 may be confident enough in Genji's reluctance to resort to violence to show him his back now that they're out of danger of a third party barging in on any conflict they have, but Genji isn't going to give the man a chance to make him regret letting him walk away armed.

"I am not sure if I should wish you good fortune in your endeavors, but try to avoid being tortured in the future." Genji doesn't approve of torture. It is needlessly cruel and when a person does provide answer, they usually are not correct to begin with, but what they expect their torturer wants to hear.

76 fully expects to be followed, which means that now he has to detour somewhere innocuous, or something Genji could potentially think is important but holds no actual meaning. It'll give him a chance to recoup, plan a next course of action. Make sure that Overwatch itself isn't after him, because that's a headache he'd rather not deal with.

Best to withdraw from the situation in the meantime, and he makes to leave. He's not going to dignify Genji with a response to that--the cyborg will just have to trust that this won't happen again, just like he'll have to trust that Genji can take care of this trafficking operation.

For a moment, it seems like he might say something (maybe the 'thanks' that's owed), but whatever it is never makes it out as he turns fully and stalks off.

Genji waited for a moment before leaving through a different path and hastily cutting around. He went upward, but not as high as he could. Most people didn't look up, but Genji expected 76 would know to watch for him there, and he would make too distinct an outline against even the night sky. But tailing someone alone was much harder than doing it in a team.

Genji had to balance not getting too close with not falling too far behind. 76 isn't leaving a blood trail at least. That would make it easier but would also be alarming.
