TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!



ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
⑦ Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!
⑧ Final battle → This is it. The battle that will end all the fighting for you. Will you win? Will you get that peace you want?
⑨ Training → You're not actually fighting, just training for the inevitable.
⑩ No hope → You know this fight has no hope. It's not going to end well for anyone involved, but you can't turn away.
⑪ Sneaking in → You're stealing a diamond or sneaking in to kick some bad guy butt, but whatever it is, you have to practice stealth.
⑫ Blue wire → You're faced with a bomb that needs to be disarmed.
⑬ Fight for honor → You've been disgraced or someone you care about has, so it's time to fight for honour.
⑭ Showdown → Time for a cowboy-style showdown. Whoever draws the fastest wins.
⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.



ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → The snow's falling, the cold's increasing, and you can't feel your limbs.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.



CRACK.
① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!
③ Mind-reading → You've suddenly got the ability to read minds!
④ Animal → You're suddenly part animal or transformed into an animal!
⑤ Awkward pick-up lines → You're compelled to use bad pickup lines on whoever is closest!
⑥ Back in School / Graduated → You're suddenly back in school! Or if you were already in it, you've aged and long since graduated!
⑦ Vampires, werewolves, and zombies, oh my! → You're suddenly a vampire, werewolf, or zombie! Maybe even a demon or a devil, whatever creepy crawly you can think of. What do you do now?

⑫ Suddenly a kid → You're a kid again! Have fun with that second childhood.

⑯ Back in time → Somehow, you wound up in the past again. Do you try to correct something or just sit and wait for time to jump? Maybe it jumps to various points in your life or maybe you actually think you're back in the day. Have fun, run wild with the idea!
⑰ To the future → Is it everything you've dreamed? Is it horrible? Whatever happens, you're here to witness what happens to you in the future. Either you take the place of your future self or you're just there to watch. Might cause some confusion if people start seeing double though...

⑲ Locked in a closet → For some reason, you're locked up in a closet with someone else. Do you make nice and try to figure your way out or what?

FLUFF.
① Cuddling → For whatever reason, characters feel like being close and cuddling.
② Pillow talk → After the main event, characters are up for some pillow talk.

④ Love confession → Someone has finally decided to confess their love and today is the day!

GEN.
① Nice meeting you → It's your first time meeting this person! You bumped into each other on the street, in a bar, at work... whatever!
② Drinks → You're out for drinks! Or just chilling at home with some beers. Wherever!
③ Lost → You're lost and you kind of need help finding your way to where you're going. A little help with directions?
④ Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?
⑤ Wrong number → Oops, actually you didn't mean to call that person...
⑥ Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?
⑦ Old friends → you haven't seen this person in a long time!
⑧ Rivals → you're suddenly rivals! Or maybe you have been all along...
⑨ Problems → you've got a problem with each other, just got in a huge fight, whatever. Try to work it out!
⑩ What are your intentions... → This person? They're dating a close friend, family member, etc. You need to find out if they're going to hurt them! Or you need to discuss your friend/family's dating choice.
⑪ I saw you → you saw the other person doing something bad and you need to confront them about it.
⑫ Sorry but no → the other person has feelings that you just don't share. They don't necessarily have to be romantic... maybe you just don't agree with their sudden desire to quit their job and start a business making tiny, fuzzy teddy bears.
⑬ My hero → you need to tell this person how much they mean to you. They've been your best friend or your role model your whole life and they need to know.
⑭ Enabler → you're enabling the other (or each other) to do something bad, really bad. Addiction, stealing, killing, or just any other self-destructive behavior.
⑮ Cooking → Time for an impromptu cooking lesson!
⑯ Oh, sure, I remember you... → It's that awkward moment when someone comes up and seems to know you, but you have no idea who they even are!
⑰ Rescue! → One of you was in trouble, but you came to the rescue!

[ Bastion makes a sound that sounds awfully like a frightened whine at the sight of the rifle, recoiling from the weapon and basically going into a defensive curl as much as they can. Sensing danger and going into combat mode is all well and good, but it's overridden by the various alerts of having fragile circuitry exposed and being in a great deal of pain, not having had good experiences with any weaponry so far today.

'Don't move'. Bastion tries even harder to make themselves look like they're not going to move. If there ever was an omnic for Not Moving, Bastion is it. ]

[At the height of the Crisis, 76 would have shot without hesitation, knowing what a unit like this could do. But he's seen a lot of strange things since then (especially when it comes to AI), and he knows that not everything might be as it initially seems. Such nuanced responses from an omnic--almost evocative of human body language--gives him a moment of pause.

The unit sounds scared. This isn't really something he knows how to deal with.

It's hard to lower his gun in the face of something like this, but now that he's close, he can see that they're far too damaged to do anything. He stoops a little and reaches a hand out, seeing if they'll let him take a closer look.]

[ Bastion remains in that curled position a minute longer; when they lift their head, the human in front of them hasn't actually fired on them, is reaching out.

They beep once or twice, cautious, but they remain more or less where they are. (It's not as if they have many options, anyway.)

There is a flash of bright yellow as Bastion tilts their arm with care, inches forward a little to look at 76. It reveals both more injury to the back plating - outer plating scorched and cracked by some kind of energy weapon - and

a bird, eyeing 76 with a beady eye. It seems to be without fear of the omnic it's chosen to stick with, as after a moment it simply ruffles its feathers and tucks its head under its wing again. ]

[He frowns--not that Bastion can see it, and tries to shoo away the bird, only to find that it doesn't seem to want to budge. Fine. Whatever. It won't be the weirdest thing he's seen today.

The irony in destroying so many of these things is that you eventually learn how they work, simply from being surrounded by all the pieces.]

What's a thing like you doing here?

[76 says it quietly, like he's not even addressing Bastion at all.]

[ Bastion tilts their head again at 76's words. They can process the sentence clearly, but answering it with their limited communication options is kind of a challenge.

They settle for pointing at 76 (they don't know how to communicate 'humans', they're trying their best), then his rifle. Then they mime a shooting action with the mounted gun on their other arm, then perform a curling up action similar to the one they'd just done. All of this is accompanied by the occasional beep or whirrr.

They point towards the trail they'd left behind in the dust; it makes it clearer that they'd dragged themselves into this place while looking blindly for somewhere to shelter and repair themselves. ]

[For a moment he thinks that Bastion is referring to him, specifically, and he has to stop and think about the last time he ran into a unit like this. But the tracks are fresh and the damage is, too. This was recent, and therefore it wasn't his fault.

Not directly, anyway.

The part of him that never really got out of the Crisis knows he should just leave this thing alone. Machines programmed to kill don't have moral complexity. They're not going to refrain from unloading a clip into a particular human because he was nice. And even if they did pass him over due to some protocol hiccup, who was to say the unit wouldn't march out there to do what it was meant to do against other humans? Then it would be his fault. The people who shot this thing up were the smart ones.]

I can take a look.

[He's frowning underneath the mask. 76 knows how to rip an omnic apart, sure, but in the very rare occasion they got one up close, they learned what wires to short-circuit, too.]

[ Bastion's range of movement is enough that they could have shot 76 up if they'd felt he was a threat. But they're learning how to override their own protocols, which is kind of a minor miracle in itself.

'I can take a look.'

There's a noticeable pause as Bastion stares at 76, optic flickering a couple of times. Even if it's just a machine, a stray bastion unit - probably the only unit of its kind left in the world, by now - there's still significant hesitation.

But - this human could have taken care of them as soon as he saw them. And they really have no other options.

Slowly, Bastion nods, uncurling and sitting up, raising a hand to their shoulder to wake the bird currently tucked into a gap in their armor. It chirps once or twice, hopping onto their fingers and then onto their head; they tilt their head to watch its motions.

The damage is extensive; a weapon powerful enough to blast through the armor plating and expose more delicate machinery had been used. The scorch marks and craters make a pattern across Bastion's chest and legs; there's more on their back, but they're not quite willing to turn around yet.

They make a mournful kind of whining noise, and make no other move to do anything. ]

[It's the bird and the way Bastion handles it that keeps him from reaching into one of those gaping holes and forcing a shutdown under the pretense of helping to fix the unit. The bird, and maybe the strangely person-esque quality of Bastion's body language. It's stupid (and against his training, and a potentially lethal mistake) to project human emotions and concepts onto animals and robots. On some level, he knows that's what he's doing, but he tells himself that if they wanted him dead, they would have done it already. A unit of this type doesn't have the capacity to pull a premeditated trick like pretending to be scared in a bid to lure a human in.

Which has other implications that are just as perplexing. The unit is trusting him, in their own way, improbable as it is. The man he used to be can't, in good conscience, take advantage of that.

76 inspects the damage up close for a long moment, then starts to scan the room for any useful tools. This is not at all his area of expertise, but he can try, and maybe Bastion will help him along.]

Your self-repair offline?

[ 'Self-repair offline?'

Bastion trills and chirps, rather than the more mechanical-sounding noises someone would usually expect from a unit like this, and shakes their head with another sorry-sounding whine.

They activate their self repair; the little attachment responsible for it sparks as it welds together some crack on their torso. But it stops at the larger chunk taken out of the shell, unable to go much further; actual missing pieces are beyond its ability to repair. It can't stick together what's not there.

Speaking of self-repair, though...Bastion has decent low light vision; they were expected to function in all sorts of conditions, as tireless frontline soldiers.

They raise their hand to what would be considered their 'face', drawing a diagonal line down across it, matching the scar that goes into 76's facemask. They tap their self-repair attachment and give an inquiring chirp, tilting their head in curiosity.

(They really don't know how humans work.) ]

[Right. Yeah, gaping holes in things will certainly put a damper on self-repair protocols. He sits back a little, still looking around the room for something useful, letting Bastion beep away while he pulls together a screwdriver and some pliers and some scrap metal. That's the advantage of being in a defunct facility--lots of refuse to make do with.

76 sits back down in front of Bastion, spreading out some the scrap between them. He's sorting through the plating, holding different sized pieces up against the places where Bastion's hull is breached. He pauses, however, when he realizes that the robot is getting close and gesturing.

Again, it takes him a moment to realize what Bastion is trying to ask (he thinks he's doing pretty well with the language barrier, but it's still a barrier), but when he does, he laughs. Sort of. It's not a very nice sound, a sort of half-growl from the back of his throat, like he's forgotten how to do it.]

Yeah, that's how we self-repair. I guess.

[ Bastion whines again, engine whirring. It sounds weirdly sad, if a robot built to murder things efficiently ('peacekeeper' is the furthest thing from anyone's mind when someone sees a Bastion unit) could sound sad.

They don't attempt to touch the scar - they know better than that. But they do seem concerned, in their own way, making a mournful kind of warbling noise. They're sorry for 76, it seems; they seem to be a bit fixed on that scar.

They trill and chirp in a more happy tone when they view the plating, though. It's probably safe to assume it's something along the lines of 'thank you', or just an expression of their own emotions, as they begin to pick up appropriate pieces and fix the spaces in their hull that aren't supposed to be there. ]

[76 watches them carefully, especially after that particular noise. These are strangely nuanced responses. Maybe he's just projecting, but he likes to think he knows enough not to do that. Doesn't change the fact that he's entertaining the situation, and helping the unit fix themselves, to boot.

Before Bastion starts welding, he takes a look inside the hole to make sure that it's only the chassis that's damaged. When that seems to be the case, he gives a nod.]

Go ahead.

[He can hold it in place, but he still studies the unit intently from behind his visor. Bastion sounds much more cheerful now, but 76 can't exactly shake the tone of their beeping and whining from just moments before, almost like they feel sorry for him, something he wouldn't tolerate from another human but has no idea what to do with in this context. It's another long moment before he speaks again.]
