It's rare to find a clearing in these woods. Aurus knows because he's been walking through them for a very long time now. It's a bit hard for him to keep track of precisely how long, or exactly when and where he entered them, but as that's sometimes the way with the Mists, he's not greatly concerned over the matter.

He's wandered the Mists for years now, letting his sojourn teach him whatever it may have to teach. There is no end to the Mists, he's learned, and no end to the sorts of unexpected places one might find oneself within it or the people with whom one might speak.

There also seems to be no end to this forest, the darkness of which has barely ebbed and flowed. Overhead the branches are usually so thick that barely any sunlight filters through, even at mid-day, and at night there is rarely so much as a shaft of moonlight. Perhaps the darkness here bothers him less because he exudes his own phosphorescent glow--a slow-thrumming purplish pulse that bleeds like foxfire from between the folds of leaves on his arms and face, and down each frond of his long fern-like hair.

He's been following the forest path--overgrown in places though it is--mostly because the undergrowth beyond it is too thick to pass through. But this parting of the canopy before him is the first of its kind that he has seen in as long as he can remember walking here.

It seems an excellent place to stop and rest for a time, have something to eat, look up at the stars, and he makes no effort to conceal his approach or soften his steps.

He only belatedly realizes that he is not the only person who seems to have stopped here, nor has he had cause to think about the sight he must present--stepping out of the darkness of the woods nearly six and a half feet tall, with a massive warhammer slung across his back, blue skin like the leaves of a hosta plant, and his suffusing purplish glow. Chance meetings are part of the world's teachings though, he figures, and he's always hopeful that they may be good ones, however they occur.

8. Hope you don't mind an Inquisitor

[Considering the tear in the sky, he couldn't rightly recall the last time he really saw stars, or even a sky that was untainted in such a way. But after everything...It was almost too peaceful, to be able to see the constellations unhindered. Given the emphasis some elven religious practices placed on symbolism, it's no wonder that some of the constellations he sees now he's rather fascinated by. Constellation "Equinor" in particular was something that held personal significance.

He hadn't been expecting to see anyone out here this late, needless to say, as he stood in the dark alone. Still, he finds himself moving up beside Cullen to see where the man might be gazing himself.]

Seems a little late for you to be up and about on patrol. Anything to report?
