scenarios;
① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

[Antiva did not get snow-- or at least not this much. This was borderline ridiculous and this former assassin is no where near the graceful sort he should be. He is bundled up in furs and leathers. The normal cocky grin on his face is gone, only a look of utter distress and misery is there.]

Kylo. [Michael's voice is soft as he calls for the other's attention. Kylo seems to be busy reading something, and while Michael feels slightly bad for interrupting- it could be important-, the other man's well-being ranks above his slight guilt for disturbing him.

Now, Michael knows humans can go on with a task without rest for a long while. They're kind of built for endurance. It's ingenious design, really. But still... He should take a break. Maybe look at the snow outside. It's really coming down, blanketing the world in white... It's nice and peaceful to look at.

... It's also cold, even inside.

The raven had been perched on the register at Lux, a tiny scroll clutched in its beak. When anyone else came towards it, the bird hopped away and made ugly noises in its throat. Only when Mazikeen put in an appearance did it strut towards her with a stiff old-man like gait. A fluff of its wings, and the raven dropped the scroll to the bartop before her. The moment her eyes left the bird, it would simply vanish.

A few simple words were written in an older demonic script, clearly meant for only her eyes: Meet me in Vail, Colorado. Got a man claiming to have a handful of feathers from Lucifer's wings that's using them for - fuck it, he stole Lucifer's feathers. Come get them with me. Will even let you torture him until you make sure he's given them all to you. - Constantine.

PS - Don't tell Lucifer. Yet. Can tell him later when blood has hit the floor and his feathers are back in your hands.

In other words, John wasn't sure how Lucifer would take knowing that someone had stole a handful of his feathers before the wings had gone to auction. Or not depending on which story John heard. Either way, he was sure the wings were a non-issue. He couldn't see Lucifer or Mazikeen resting until they had been recovered.

Coordinates had been included, ones that led to an empty field. Snow swirled and fell quietly. Only those magically inclined would see that the area was waiting, holdings its breath in a way before the spell completed.

[Being from a desert planet, Spock did not have many opportunities to see snow. The last time he saw it, it was just passing by the Class M planet that he marooned Jim on after his mother died. Not very happy memories, but still it's what he thought of. Perhaps this will allow him to make a more positive association with the weather pattern.]

What is the purpose of this?

[Because he really didn't understand why he was on his hands and knees rolling a giant snowball across the ground. It was rather illogical.]
