He cracked open his eye and looked to the side, the space empty. His mouth twisted, not surprised - just disappointed. Sitting up, he crawled to the end of the bed and molded himself against the back of the man sitting on the bench at the foot. He pressed his face into the back of his neck, breathing him in with a low hum.

"You know, one of the joys of owning a company is that you can choose your own work hours," he mumbled against Malcolm's skin, head drifting up to nuzzle behind his ear.

Refusing to open her eyes, she made to nuzzle closer to Ezio, but her head only made contact with more pillows. Slowly opening her green eyes, she realized the warm around her waist was a blanket, and the bed was very much empty except for her.

A second later, she got whiff of something coming from the kitchen. It was enough to make her mouth water. There was no way he was making her breakfast- she wasn't even thinking that.

But this was Ezio, and the last time he'd cooked for her had been amazing enough. But to cook her breakfast?

Nope, no use in getting her hopes up. Instead, she pulled the covers up to her chin, burrowing into the blankets. God this bed was far more comfortable than her own. Than any bed she'd ever been in, truthfully.]
