[The New Jedi Order is different from the Old Jedi Order, but Ahsoka still holds herself apart from it. She will give advice, and she will talk to people about avoiding the Dark Side as well as the dangers that can come without ever falling from the Light, but she will not join the Jedi Council.

She does, however, keep in touch with Anakin Skywalker's family. She is one of the only people who knew him before he was Vader and still survives, and still defends him as a man who was once good, and the Skywalker-Solo clan are some of the only people she doesn't have to fight on that count.

She comes across the young Anakin training with his lightsaber and stops to watch for a moment. It's not like she'd play favorites with her honorary nieces and nephews, but she does have a soft spot for the kid named for her old master. She smiles.]
