You're about to go off the rails. No, no "about," actually. You've left that train track fair behind, and you're crazy. Rage fills every inch of you, and there's no doubt you're about to do something dangerous, stupid, or reckless. Or all three. There's only one person who can calm you down: your lover. They have tried everything they know to get those thoughts from your heard. Everything except for this... Now, they're using physical intimacy to remind you what really matters, which is the two of you. Surely, this will bring you back, letting the anger ebb out and you'll be able to think straight again, even if your lover was the actual cause of all this mess. Won't it? Surely you won't direct your wrath towards them, no matter what. Bucky shook his head his mind slowly coming back to normal. "Tony...is Tony okay? I think I might have punched him...." He said looking up at Steve with regret and a touch of fear in his eyes. "He was trying to help....triggered a flashback...."

"Tony's fine. You clocked him pretty good, but he's had worse. Got a busted lip...he was more worried about whether you were okay. I told him to let me handle it." He said, stroking through Bucky's hair, shifting his hips slowly.

Bucky grunted and his hips bucked of their own accord. "Steve?" He asked a little confused. Did Steve want sex or was something else going on? He was glad Tony was alright though.

"Sorry...do you want me to stop?" He asked softly, stroking his fingers through Bucky's hair. "Just...you had me freaked out. I've never been able to get to you before." He said, biting his lip.

"No....s'fine. Just not sure what you want is all." Bucky said softly still resting beneath Steve. Once Steve let him go he let his hands come up and wrap around the one above him, holding him close. "I'm sorry I scared you."

"I want you. Always want you." He said, cupping his face before kissing him softly, pressing close though making it easy for Bucky to push him away if he needed to.

Bucky melted into the kiss letting Steve have what he needed to relax. It wasn't that he himself didn't want it, it's just he was pretty damn tired right now. He moaned softly letting Steve know he was enjoying it though.

He pulled back a bit, smiling down at him before kissing his jaw and then his neck. "You sure you're okay? We could go lay down if you want?"

"I'm alright. Tired yeah, but I don't want to go to bed just yet. Can we...watch something? Maybe one of those Disney films Natasha suggested?" Bucky asked. After such a horrid flashback all he wanted to do was cuddle and try and calm down.

"Yeah we can watch something." He said, nodding as he turned on the TV, shifting so he was sitting next to Bucky, pulling him close and kissing his shoulder. "Hmmm Disney..." He picked a random Disney movie before getting comfortable.

Bucky settled against Steve as they began watching the movie. His attention was fully focused on the screen before them lost in the world of The Lion King. "How do they come up with this stuff?" Bucky asked awed as the movie continues to play.

"They've been coming up with it for years. You haven't even seen a fraction yet." He said with a chuckle, stroking his fingers through his hair slowly.

"I'm looking forward to seeing them all!" Bucky yawned as he leaned in further to Steve's gentle touch.

"There are a lot of them. You'll be shocked." He teased, kissing his temple and holding him close.

Bucky fell asleep before the movie ends but he's warm and happy and content lying there against Steve. When Steve moves intending to get up, Bucky wakes with a groan. "Bed?" He yawns rubbing at his eyes with his right hand. "Can I sleep with you?"

"You don't have to ask me that anymore, Buck. Unless you say otherwise...I want you to sleep with me every night." He said, kissing him before gently helping him up. "Come on. Lets go to bed."

Bucky leaned into Steve's kiss for a moment, snuggling close for a bit before they headed into Steve's bedroom. Bucky pulled off his shirt and stripped down to his boxers then slipped into the bed. "I'm sorry again about earlier. I really didn't mean to scare you."

"Don't worry about it." He said, getting ready for bed himself before climbing in and wrapping his arm around the other.

Bucky cuddled close, his back to Steve's chest. Sleeping like this, curled around one another, really helped keep the nightmares at bay. Bucky honestly slept so much better when around Steve. He wasn't sure what the reason was exactly, perhaps familiarity, perhaps something else.

He wrapped his arms around Bucky, settling into the bed with him and pulling him even closer against his chest. He pressed his lips to Bucky's shoulder, sighing quietly.

"Love you, Stevie." Bucky whispered softly as his arm came up to gently touch Steve's hand. "Sweet dreams."

"Love you too, Buck." He said, smiling as he caught the other man's hand and entwined their fingers. Then he kissed his shoulder softly. "Sweet dreams."

Bucky let sleep wash over him. He felt safe in Steve's arms, like nothing could reach him so long as he was there. It was rare he slept without nightmares but sleeping with Steve seemed to keep them mostly at bay. He curled back against him making their bodies pretty much flush against one another.

Steve was out within minutes, able to sleep so much more soundly with Bucky in his arms. He hummed against his shoulder, pressing lips to his skin before falling deeper into sleep.

Bucky woke several hours later covered in sweat and breathing deeply. He couldn't really remember the dream, but it had been intense and he was still shaking lightly. He turned in Steve's arms seeking the comfort he provided. The need for proof that he was alive, that he was safe was to great for him to keep working.
