monster transformation meme

(warning: body horror)

Whatever you were before, there's something inside you that needs to surface. You can feel it coming, fast or slow. The change will be painful, and not pretty, and it comes with strange cravings. Can you count on anyone to help you through it? Will your friends accept you in your new form?

sansational: Sans, absolutely delighted at some awful pun or another (Bad puns are best puns)

[Sans was often there to laze about, but it went deeper than that. Especially back then, when he'd been perhaps the only monster truly aware of the resets, Grillby's had been a constant in his life in a way that sometimes even Papyrus couldn't be. Grillby's was a place where he'd always been safe. Grillby was someone he was always safe with - reliable and good. That strange illness had only given him a great appreciation for who his friend really was.

He can't deny that anymore.

So when Grillby answers, a slow, broad smile of comprehension spreads across Sans' skull. He starts to laugh, even as tears start to gather in his eyesockets when the buildup of true emotion begins to overwhelm him.

In the end, he doesn't say anything. Sans just throws his arms around Grillby and hugs him, close and tight. He moves with the certainty that this time, he won't be hurt. This time, everything is as it should be, and Grillby feels so wonderfully warm.]
