[ Neither of them really considered themselves dating. Emerald definitely didn't want to date Sun, but she wasn't turning away what they did have. The fact that they ended up out in the Emerald Forest alone with a romantic picnic waiting for them was probably the worst joke Mercury had ever played on her after finding out that she was getting it from Sun. To his credit, if she had actually been interested in dating, this would've been a really romantic gesture that probably would've landed them both where they were now for entirely different reasons.

This time it was more of a show of 'this is what I think of your picnic' than anything romantic, which was made pretty obvious by the way that she had used one of the long fabric napkins to tie Sun's wrists together and was currently lowering herself onto his face. ]
