A smut version of Game of Thrones is just Game of Thrones.

You've found yourself in a sprawling continent, from hulking mountains in the cold north to the deep oceans on the shore, all with its own history.

This land is called Eros.

Eros is not unlike the feuding era of Europe's dark ages, complete with lords, ladies, and knights. However, this land also has differences. Magic once existed here - magic powered by worship of the arcane gods and indulgences of carnal desire - and even know, there are whispers of strange creatures out in the wastes, only held back by the bravery of a few dedicated watchmen. Yet this is not the only turmoil. Once, ages ago, the country was divided, all lands ruled by different great families and those loyal to them. Then, that age was shattered by an invasion of a warlord king and his sister-wives, bringing along with them terrible creatures. Dragons, they say. One by one, the kings of old bent the knee...and bent over to show their loyalty. For, as has been previously implied, sex is the number one commodity in Eros, and the very air the inhabitants breath and the very food they eat conditions them for it. It is a form of worship, a show of fealty, the way to assume guest's rights within a home, a way to seal alliances, through marriages and producing heirs, and even, in some places, a form of currency. From a young age, noble and lowborn children alike are taught its importance. Still, there are taboos: relations between classes and between family members are strictly forbidden and monogamy is encouraged among women. The anti-incest sentiment is particularly strong, considering that the conquering race practiced it without discretion. This inbreeding led to madness, which itself ultimately led to overthrow. Now, a new king reigns in Eros, yet things are not peaceful. The great houses are restless under this rule, the king's house is rotting from within, and machinations behind the scenes are always vying for new power. The world's a dangerous place, no matter who you are.

And what are you? You believe you belong here, that you've been in this world your entire life, but your position could be anything from lord to peasant, from priestess to whore, from knight to watched. One thing is certain, however. The name of the game is sex, and in the game of sex, you fuck or you die.

Highborn Prompts
1. The Great Houses: You are a member of one of the most powerful houses with its own words, coat of arms, and codes, and therefore, certain expectations are upon you. Still, there are times when you want to cut loose; after all, there are reasons northmen are known for fucking like animals in the cold and the south is known for wild orgies.
2. Vassal/Bannerman/Member of a Subservient House: Not every family or house is rich and powerful. Some must serve, and in order to prove themselves, children of these houses are often offered up for marriage or for sexual pleasure.
3. Vying for the Kingship: Since the current king is weak and corrupt, you think you and yours would be better in power. You'll get it through any means necessary. And after all, what's a king without loyal subjects?
4. Guest's Rights: Guest's rights means you cannot harm your host, nor can your host harm you. The way to guarantee these rights is to have sex with a member of the hosting house.
5. Alliances: Ink and scroll may work fine, but the control and intrinsic connection of sexual contact and persuasion is so much more powerful.
6. Arranged Marriage/Courting: The ultimate form of alliance, and incredibly common.
7. Courtly Love/Affair: Because many marriages in Eros are political and not for love, often times affairs can begin, both of a physical and emotional variety. Some degree of intimacy is allowed between lords or ladies and their knights, servants, and protectors, but it's best to not let things be too obvious.
8. Knight: The heroes of the day, knights are skilled warriors adored by all. They are supposed to be noble, yet it's fairly hard to remain above it all when you make everyone you come into contact with swoon. Or, if they don't, you can just take what you want...
9. Ladder Climbing: You hop from chamber to chamber, making no secret of it. All that matters to you is who's arm your on and how powerful they are.
10. Lady Wife or Noble Husband: The person you're married to could do much worse than you for a spouse. You are honest, loyal, and do your duty in the home and in the bedroom. Perhaps there's even love here.
11. Conqueror and Spoil of War/Hostage: When you take over a land, you own everything. Everything, including the spouse and children of who you disposed of. Perhaps you'd like to give that person the ultimate defeat and take their spouse as your own, continuing your own line.
12. Wedding Night/Bedding: Wedding nights in Eros are incredibly raucous affairs, with feasts and drinking nearly all night. Then, at the end, the couple are stripped and escorted to their chamber, where their first night as spouses is expected to be heard.
12. Turncoat: You were once loyal to one party, but something came up and you turned on them in the most heinous way possible. Now, you want to make them as miserable as you can. What caused this? Was it really something...or was it someone?
13. Heirs: The sole purpose of your sex this time is to create offspring.
14. Revenge: You've been wrong, and there's one surefire way to get revenge - deprive them of their most base honor.
15. Taboo: You want something that even you, the noble, cannot have: your relative, someone of a lower caste, or someone else even more disavowed.

Lowborn/Etc. Prompts
1. Peasant: Life for peasants is hard, full of disease and famine. Still, there are some perks. Marriage is usually for love and sex is not quite as monitored.
2. Bastard/Parent of a Bastard Child: Even worse than being a peasant is being a child born out of wedlock, which is a common occurrence. Perhaps you and your partner are facing the prospect of bringing a bastard into the world. Or maybe you yourself are a bastard, either wanting to avoid subjecting a child to this life, or, out of spite, wanting to impregnate as many women as you can.
3. Watchers: The Watchers are an ancient brotherhood dedicated to keeping Eros safe and guarding its borders. One would think that such a group would be celibate, but sex is actually encouraged - as long as it remains within the ranks, which involve both men and women. The Watchers, however, meet many people, so this is hard to do.
4. Assassin: Living outside the law, you are paid to kill. And killing is easiest when you get close.
5. Whore: Sadly, even in Eros, those who charge for sex are looked down upon. There is a bright side, however. Whores with especially good skills and charming personalities often get noble benefactors and want for nothing. All in all, it's not a bad life for those
6. Pleasure Servant: Unlike a whore, you are not paid for this. You were probably sold to a noble house to please them with your body. Often, these slaves are used and abused, though there are a few instances of them being treated kindly.
7. Working Sex Magic: Whether it be summoning a spirit or working a spell, magic is intertwined with sex in Eros. It takes two to do even the basics.
8. Worshiping the Gods: Some people dedicate their lives to worship of the gods, which means they have sex every day, multiple times a day, but even laypeople must come and pay their respects, either bringing their own partner or taking one at the place of worship.
9. Craftsman: You have a very valuable skill set, whether it be making clothes or making swords. You can charge whatever you want for your wares, and some may offer more than what's asked.
10. Supernatural Creature: It is said that inhuman creatures are out in the wild, and some even walk among people this day in age. And these beings have desires, too.
11. Uncultured Foreigner: Whether you're a wild person from beyond the wall or a well-bred royal from across the sea, you'll be viewed with suspicion in Eros. This doesn't, however, mean that you cannot bring your own views on lovemaking and tempt even the most jingoistic Erosian.
12. Forbidden: You're not noble born, but you're involved with someone who is. This will not end well for you.

[Just an open post/meme very loosely based on the Game of Thronesverse and high fantasy in general. No knowledge of the genre or anything else required; literally everything you need is right here. As usual, the prompts are not required, either. Everyone is invited. If you can't find a way to fit your character in, bullshit.

Thor Odinson | MCU

[personal profile] worldsaway 2016-04-29 01:59 am (UTC)(link)
Character Name: Thor Odinson
Character Age: Late 20's, early 30's.
Role: Thor is a highborn of House Odinson.
Character Information:
He's the first in line for his father's throne. He has no official claim for the Iron Throne, but he's ambitious. His land is further North and his people endure the cold, they're known for being fierce warriors and their people dabble in magic and myth.

Thor is a bit of a party prince, despite his father's high expectations. He likes boozing and he enjoys good looking company. He hasn't yet settled into the role of a noble ruler, but he'll do anything for his people.

He believes war is the solution for most things (and he likes fighting), but would probably succumb to an arranged marriage or the like eventually.

Yes: I'm up for pretty much anything, noncon and dubcon is fine so long as it's discussed.
No: Scat and gore.
Anything else: Nope!
