001 PLAYGROUND - Well, you can try to hide under the slide or maybe in the jungle gym... at least you're some place fun?
002 PARK - Always happens, caught outside trying to take advantage of the weather... and it ends up pulling a fast one on you.
003 STORE FRONT - Better hope they have an awning you can take advantage of
004 THE BEACH - Not exactly the best place to be during a rainstorm, however it is possible to get caught in a sudden storm

001 TREE - Not the best cover, but it'll have to do, stay close to the roots and you won't get too wet.
002 UMBRELLA - Most conventional... Kinda boring. But it works.

[ The sand getting into his shoes was bad enough; well no, that might have been an understatement. Sand in your boots is a nightmare. Loki couldn't help but grit his teeth, allow his hands to curl into fists, fighting an invisible frustration. And why? Well, 'twas as pertinent a question as any, really, but like all pertinent questions revolving around Loki and his all but bizarre behaviour, the answers always chalked up to similar notions. There was no real reason, but whatever it was? Thor merely acted as a curious catalyst.

Though what could the rough-hewn fellow have been doing there on a Midgardian beach, facing his exiled would-be brother? Oh, a myriad of reasons crawled to mind.

She stood outside of the local grocery store with her arms folded into her sleeves. With nothing to cover her, she was getting pretty soaked, but she didn't seem to mind. She was lost in thought and unaware of where she even was at the moment.]

Captain and Officer, they'd been on a field mission when the sky darkened, thick with clouds and rolling thunder, and with their objective not yet realized, they'd no choice but to wait out the storm under the cover of a tree. Though the willow is large, and its branches sprawling, its foliage is thin, and the rain is cold, unforgiving as it stirs chill and memories both.

Rukia, with her shihakushou soaked through, is shivering. And Ukitake, responsible for her, cannot allow it. His haori is meant to weather even icy rains of winter bleeding into spring, and lining is dry, warm enough to bring her some measure of comfort as he drapes it about her narrow shoulders with a soft, apologetic smile.

[ There are days that are better and days that are worse. This is one of the worse days. When the guilt threatens to eat him from the inside and he has to take a walk and get a way from everything for a time so he can try and center himself again. He's moved on, to an extent, but a part of him is still back on the Pool Ship, ordering his cousin to kill his brother and wondering, 'what if I make a different choice?'

So when it starts to rain he doesn't really mind. He's in the middle of a park and he lets the water spatter off of him, soaking into his hair and his clothing. He'll be wet to the bone by the time he gets home. But he doesn't really care. But in passing, he finds someone he never expected to see again. At least, not like this. ]

WHAT IS RNG?

[So… Alfred was sort of a basket case. Okay. Not sort of. A real basket case. He would never admit it, but he was fretting over Bruce’s return like a mother hen—that combined with the humid Gotham summer air was getting to her. So she chose to escape outside… not the best idea considering the rain, but the only viable choice she had (Unless she wanted to be swept off the couch or bed for the millionth time).

So, she’s sitting outside on the roof, away from the paparazzi that were waiting to grab pictures of Bruce arriving home—though she’s wondering if that was a good choice the drizzle that had started. Still, it wasn’t bad enough that she couldn’t catch a bit of a nap before Bruce’s ETA.

No she wasn’t excited, or nervous, or feeling a bit jumpy. What are you talking about? That’s for pansies.

She totally is Bruce. Butterflies, okay?
