✎ Notes Passed In Class

• Post with your character as if they are sitting in a high school class, listening to a boring lecture.
• Tag other characters as if they are sitting in the same class and communicating by passing notes back and forth.
• Doodling is also encouraged.
• Don't be afraid to threadjack! After all, notes have to change a lot of hands before they reach their intended target.
• Have fun!

[Science class is always one of the worst. Formulas, theories, and a bunch of other things Odd can't really wrap his brain around. he really needs a distraction soon or he might just fall asleep.]

[History of Magic is definitely the worst class ever. But fortunately, Hermione is paying enough attention for all three of them.

Harry, for his part, has caught himself nodding off at least twice during this class period, and Ron doesn't appear to be resisting the urge to fall asleep much better than he is. Professor Binns's droning monotone is about the best sleeping potion that exists. Maybe a better strategy to get through would be to think about what they're going to do after it's over.

He tears off a piece of parchment and scribbles a note to Ron.]

[Junpei's head is leaning on his hand as he naps, his elbow slipping slowly across the wooden desk. As soon as it goes too far, almost slipping off completely he jerks awake.

He stifles a yawn and starts tracing the edges of his paper with his pencil. Anything to stay awake.]

[ Jake, on the other hand, doesn't even give off the impression that he's paying attention - his headphones are on and effectively stopping him from hearing a goddamn thing, drumming the beat against his leg with his fingertips. Idly his eyes drift around the class, pausing on the ever-shy girl seated to his right. She, at least, seems to be trying to learn something. A pity this teacher is famous for mumbling everything - he's inaudible from this far back, headphones or not. Jake rolls his eyes in thought for a moment before scribbling a quick note, tossing it her way when no one seems to be watching. ]

I grant that it's entirely possible, and at this point even probable, that you have better things to do than be here. Alas, if you eschew the art of the occasional upward glance for much longer, Snape will stop pretending that you don't exist in his class and you'll end up with a thousand-word essay due by tomorrow.
