TWILIGHT ZONE MEME
You are standing before a door.
You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of sound. A dimension of sight. A dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance. Of both things and ideas. You've just entered the Twilight Zone.

1. Careful What You Wish For
Ever wish for something to happen, not thinking of the consequences? Well, be careful what you wish for, because today, you just might get it. But every action has a reaction and what will be the result of your granted wishes? Don't worry, you're about to learn a lesson in fate. Be careful what you wish for, because some wishes can't be undone.
2. I'll Give You A Million…
If someone is a bit down on their luck they may visit a pawn shop to make a few bucks off of some stuff they own. Was the pawn shop there yesterday? Who knows? You certainly don't care; you need some cash now! Maybe your in debt, maybe your in danger of losing your home, maybe you've got a gambling problem. Whatever the case, pawning a few things seems like a good idea. But in this shop you may find that the owner is willing to bargain for a lot more than just items--and for a high price too! But what will it really cost you in the end?
3. Beauty Is Only Skin Deep
There are many worlds, an unlimited number of dimensions out there. It only makes sense that while beauty is prized in this world, it is abhorred in another. You've just found yourself in another world, where ugliness is prized above all else. Perhaps you are the unfortunate soul who was cursed with beautiful features at birth and that has made you an outcast. Will you try to undergo a transformation to change yourself to match those around you? Or will you search for others like you in hopes that they can understand your plight? Perhaps you are one of the truly blessed, one born uglier than most, and you have taken it upon yourself to humor this beautiful person with your attention. Shouldn't they be so grateful to you if that's the case?
4. Word Processor of the Gods
That new laptop (or smart phone) you bought seems to have an extra program installed. It might be a video game with strangely realistic characters in it. Be careful what you play and how you make that character react. You are now in control of someone else's life and their body. You can change their clothes with a click of a mouse or even change their location. Their attitude and looks are set, so there's no changing those, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't look cute with some extra accessories, like a tattoo or a piercing. Or maybe it's a writing program that's been installed. You can rewrite someone's memories and their life if you like. You can write about them changing into clothes they normally wouldn't wear or doing unspeakable acts they'd normally avoid. You can even tweak their attitude a little bit, although some portions seem to have been deemed "uneraseable" how strange. Maybe you know the person, maybe you don't, but the better question is if you are aware of what you're doing to them.
5. A Case of the Stubborns
We you woke up this morning, not everything was as it seemed. You go about your normal routine but something is off. Maybe you notice when you walk into the bathroom and you can't turn on the shower. Or perhaps you notice when you reach for the frying pan and your hand goes right through it. Somehow, your spirit has left you body. You are little more than a ghost right now. Only one person can see and hear you. Or perhaps they can't even do that, but they can certainly feel you. Either way, you have to get your point across that you are not dead, you're certainly not ready to pass on, and you'd very much like to get back in your body by any means possible. Will you possess someone in an attempt to get them to understand what's going on? Or will you haunt them, using whatever method you can to get across to them that you are still around.
6. A Different World
Everything seemed normal at first. Today started out and for once, everything was going your way. Or maybe everything was even more screwed up than usual. Either way, it won't last long. In the middle of what you're doing, someone suddenly yells "cut!" and when you look up, everything around you will have changed. All around you are stage props and the "building" you were in is just a strange stage. There's a film crew, like in the movies, and the director is issuing orders. When you ask someone what's going on, you hear a startling fact. Your a movie star, a famous actor known for their talent, and the life you think you've been living all this time is actually nothing more than a role. Are you happy? Have you finally broken free of a terrible life and now you're going to make the best of this situation? Or are you terrified? Did you love your life and now everything is suddenly disappearing, falling apart before your eyes. Your lover, you family, everything is gone. Regardless, you only have a few days to figure out what's going on. It seems that at the end of the week, your role ends and your chance to go back to your old life will be forever gone. Better hurry and figure out how, and if, you'll go back.
7. Hush
Warning: Sensory deprivation!
The city is always loud. The hustle and bustle, the honking cars and the loud vendors, whether it's L.A., NYC, Chicago, Madrid, London or anywhere else, there's always noise. It's one of the best and worst things about the city. It's what makes the city the city. All that noise makes this place feel alive but today, someone's built a machine to deal with the noise in the city, and they've decided they want to test it out on unsuspecting pedestrians. It has two functions. The first one is it can take away sound, making the person hit by it deaf to all noises. This could be very dangerous in the wrong scenario--and advantage for someone else if they catch them unawares in the right one. The second function is to take away speech, suddenly making the person unable to produce any sound when they try to talk. You'll just have to learn how to communicate without the use of the senses you've just lost. Maybe you lost one, maybe you lost both, or maybe you didn't loose any. Perhaps you're the person who's stumbled across this poor victim or maybe you're the builder of the machine yourself, come to check on one of your volunteers.
8. Family Affairs
Sometimes the threshold between reality and what lies on the other side blurs. It may just be that you won't even realize it when you cross to the other side. Such a thing has just happened to two such individuals who had been happilly leading very seperate lives from one another. But having crossed into the Twilight zone they are about to find themselves thrown together, as a family.
9. Picture Worth A Thousand Words
There are all kinds of strange, unexplainable events in the world. This is one such event. Maybe you were taking pictures and you noticed one of them didn't look quite right. Or maybe you were flipping through an old album and stumbled across a set of picture that weren't there before and you certainly didn't take. Whatever the case may be, one thing is for certain--these pictures are clues. Perhaps there from someone you thought was dead, or someone who disappeared a long time ago. Perhaps you don't know who they're from. Regardless, they're leading you somewhere--or to someone. Will you follow? Or will you try to ignore the signs?
10. Twilight Zone Choice
Will you find out you have strange powers, like a con artist who pretends to raise the dead only to find he actually raised the dead? Or perhaps you'll try to save your loved ones from the future, a future in which you're already dead? You can choose any scenario you like.
