They'd always been rivals, since basically day one of their first meeting at Garden and it had only gotten worse since then. The SeeD exam though, had more or less followed the same tone of everything they'd done especially considering Seifer's method of not listening.

And she couldn't really fault the instructors, either, because in the end, they had been trained to follow orders and it had been a test, no matter how beneficial the results of Seifer moving independently.

It wasn't fair, but when was anything fair?

The party itself was more or less the usual fare and 'Squall' hung back around the edges, just watching the rest of the cadets and SeeDs enjoy themselves.

Wash had never been the most eloquent member of the team, being one of the newest and while they all shared a locker room, there were still moments when he found himself caught completely off guard.

Which didn't take much.

Walking in and finding a stranger in front of North's locker, someone who clearly wasn't North or South had him stopping dead in his track, eyeing the woman.

The mission had been a..mixed success. They'd achieved their objective, true, but not without paying a price and Carolina had spent most of the afternoon/evening waiting for news on Maine before she finally left the infirmary and headed for York's room, figuring he'd at least be awake.

And someone to talk to.

She lifted a hand to knock and then hesitated for a moment. Carolina rubbed the back of her hand across her face before shaking her head once and turning to walk away. It wasn't his job to deal with her self pity over something that never should have happened in the first place.

She brought the paper down with her to Tony's workshop, hoping that the brunette needed something for target practice.

Kylo Ren didn't know why anybody thought she would be the right Force user for a diplomatic mission to Asgard, but as soon as she found out who it was they would be in a world of pain. Possibly followed by burning on that pyre.

For now it's making nice with the locals and other guests. And try not to get hit by flying cups of mead, since that seemed to be a thing at Asgardian parties.

Sitting there in full black garb and helmet, she looked the part of grumpy party pooper while stabbing her meat as if it still needed killing. There came another mug. Without looking up, she raised her hand and deflected it - right at another woman's head.
