Are you human? Nope. You're a machine. An artificial consciousness. But you look at least a little human. Enough to interact with humans in a largely human society. But you're just different enough to keep you apart. Can you overcome your differences and coexist with the humans? Do you even want to?

Or maybe you are human, and the creator or owner of this humanoid machine. How do you interact with something that's so close to looking and feeling real, but isn't? Do you get along? Do you develop feelings for this object as you would another human being? Or do you merely think of them as they are: an appliance, little more than an intelligent toaster.

Explore the interactions between human and AI. Make it shippy or gen. Just have fun!

[He catches her looking at him more than she would like to admit, her head cocked to the side. He reads different now, not the creation Ultron had in the cradle. It is good. He saved her when he didn't have to, when she was okay dying up in the city. Pietro was gone, and what else did she have. Ripping Ultron was enough for her in a way. It's all she had then though.

And end to pain, something she hadn't ever had before. Not since losing her parents. Death has always been inevitable, and the suffering and anger that goes with it now commonplace.

But he looks back, and Wanda turns her head back to what Cap was saying, instructions for the day. But it happens again, and while manners aren't necessarily her strong suit, she tries for a small smile. He's caught her after all.]

Once the body was ready and most of the code was finished, he introduced her to the internet and left her to learn from it for a while. (Don't worry, he installed safeguards so he wouldn't get another Microsoft Tay fiasco.)

None of Team Flash knew about Dawn. He wasn't sure it was wise, keeping it a secret, but he was afraid of how they'd react. After all, it had been Dr. Wells— the first, more evil Dr. Wells— who had given him the idea in the first place. There was a part of him that still thought everything that came from Eobard Thawne was bad, but by the time they discovered who he really was, Dawn.exe was so far into production, it would have been a waste of good code to stop.

Finally, the big day is here. Time to download the software into the hardware and turn her on. Cisco can hardly breathe, wondering if he's got any paper bags around. But he finishes the data transfer and unplugs the cable connected to the back of the neck, waiting for the body to power itself on.... ]

Ben Solo would counter that he's not a scientist, he's a computer engineer who's cowering under his desk because his newest creation, codenamed Rey, is throwing a fit over not being allowed to leave the lab. ]

It was a broken down science station in the middle of nowhere. Abandoned long ago, the plants and rocks seemed to have taken it over as one of their own, hiding it underneath a mossy blanket of green and brown dust.

Inside, the computer was turned off but still operational thanks to solar energy panels still connected to it. It seemed like parts of the android were scattered all over the place, like it had been disassembled in a hurry and left to rot. What was left hung lifeless from overhead cables, a puppet on strings that had no one to make it move anymore.

[He's already gone into a sleep mode when they bring him back - not a good sign. The Quinjet's barely landed before Wanda's shoving people out of her way in her haste to get to him. Nothing about this is exactly normal but this at least they are used to.

She rushes to where's he's still strapped in, presses her hands to his temples, and channels her power. There are other ways to do this, of course, but this seems to be the fastest. Wanda can generate a surprising amount of energy given the right incentive.

His series name is 3GS-1, so his developer nicknamed him Eggsy, and now that's all he really answers to.

'Series' might be a little grandiose, however, for a product line that will only ever include one product. Eggsy is an experimental android, physically flawless, capable of withstanding a temperature range from Arctic to Saharan, able to lift dozens of times his own weight and withstand enormously heavy impact. Intellectually, he's as close to a true AI as has ever been developed, an artificial being of enormous potential.

That he was the side project of the lead programmer for a company specialising in 'adult companionship (recreational/other)' is neither here nor there. Kingsman picks up chatter from all corners, and when they hear about an android which breezed through the Turing test they make his inventor an offer he can't refuse.

So now he's waiting calmly in the vast complex of laboratories beneath a stately home north of London, sitting naked on a bench with several wires trailing out of a panel at the small of his back. He looks up as the door opens, sensors assessing a bald figure who is as much machine as man, and smiles sunnily.

"Alright?"
