Snowed in: uh-oh, it looks like it may have snowed a little too much last night, and now you're stuck inside. So grab a hot cup of cocoa, curl up and relax. Or maybe you're going a little stir crazy. Have fun with it.
Snowball fight!: Arguably the best part of a snow day, right? Gathering a bunch of friends, or just one, and spending the day in modern snowy warfare. You better make your ammunition and pile that snow fort high, you don't have much time before the snow begins to fly.
Ice rink: Oh wow, winter hit pretty hard, didn't it? The local pond froze over and is even safe enough to go skating on! So grab your skates and hit the ice-- not literally, though. That hurts.
Walking in a winter wonderland: The way the snow glistens is rather pretty, isn't it? Sure it's cold but it's not so bad if you're spending it with a loved one, enjoying the scenery and staying close to keep warm. ;)

[Visiting the fam for holiday vacation goes without saying. Winter storms are always questionable, though. They're symbolic of a cozy holiday season, a trademark backdrop to only the best selling Christmas cards.

And, of course, reinforce all aspects of laziness for most people. Being snowed in provides the perfect excuse to lie around, shrouded in layers of fleece, hot cocoa in hand, cheesy movie for entertainment purposes...]

[ this is unusual to both of them. naboo's temperate climate doesn't allow for this kind of weather and anakin still feels like hasn't gotten the sand out of his boots.

but a sunny day with a snowy background, an ice pond reflected against the blue sky right in front of them while they sit with a thermos of hot chocolate and skates strapped to their feet, and the most important thing - no one around them is even giving them a second glance? anakin can't think of a better day.

he can ignore the that he's never actually skated before and that no amount of jedi grace can save him from falling on his face in front of the love of his life. or that he's hiding a marriage from a mystical order of knights who promote peace but wield laser swords.
