The fact that you're in a relationship with this person isn't public knowledge. Actually, no one knows about it except for the people involved. Maybe you guys are just private like that; on the other hand, it may be a necessity to keep things a secret from others. Maybe you're both team mates, and others on the team would give you grief, or you're not suppose to be dating, or you're not the type to usually date and you're only testing the waters. Perhaps it's the combination of you two, possibly an odd couple, that would bring some controversy or some teasing. Or, you know, you could not want to deal with friends and relatives being busybodies. Your reasons are your own.

Are you content with stealing moments to be together as a couple? Do you want to make your relationship known and the fact that you can't drives you batty? Remember, there are lots of benefits to dating in secret. You can be yourselves completely, away from prying eyes, and get to know each other better as potential longterm romantic partners. In a way, it's ideal.

If it wasn't a crisis among the vampires, it was something to do with a pack member or a metahuman that needed Barry to intervene and get them either the help they needed or into Iron Heights prison. Finally their schedules had aligned and they had the weekend for themselves at last.

The warning gets a happy laugh bubbling up from him as he reaches for his fork. "Then I'd better consider myself warned because I would hate for you not to be able to keep that promise."

Jason grins widely at him, settling back to get some food. Passing Barry one of his favorites, first. "Oh, I'm definitely keeping that promise. That's not something you have to worry about."

He settles back against the couch, watching the opening of the movie as they started eating.

Barry makes a pleased sound at the offering, digging in happily. Takeout, Netflix and his boyfriend. Yeah, life really didn't get much better than this.

It only takes a few minutes for Barry to clean up once they're done. There were no leftovers, which was hardly a shock. But extra food means extra stamina and they were long overdue for this.

That's one thing that Jason is still getting used to in a lot of ways. Sure, he knew that Barry was the Flash and, as such, was a lot faster than the average human or were. But when the takeaway boxes are cleared away and Barry is right back beside him in a matter of moments?

Yeah, it was still pretty awesome.

Jason grins once Barry is back beside him and shifts, pressing over against the other man's side. "All settled, then?"

Cleaning up quickly was just a perk of his speed. He wanted to spend as much time as he could with Jason, not waste time cleaning up.

A bright smile as he shifts his arm to come around Jason's shoulders. "Yeah, 'm all yours."

Jason grins up at him for a moment before moving into Barry's lap. Sure, he's not as fast as the Flash by a long shot, but he's faster than most baseline humans. Barry could certainly stop him if he wanted to.

Somehow, Jason's thinking he probably doesn't want to stop him at all. Because straddling Barry's lap puts them both at just the right high for Jason to lean forward and kiss Barry, wrapping his arms around the other man's shoulders as he leans forward into it. And pressing their bodies together from groin to chest.

Oh Barry has no intention of stopping Jason from making good on his promise. His arms wind around his waist, humming happily into the kiss. He's needed this break so badly.

Barry's hands slide up Jason's back, feeling the play of muscles beneath skin as heat coils low in his belly.

Jason slides one hand up into Barry's hair, nipping lightly at the other man's bottom lip. "It's been entirely too long since we last had any time together." Weeks. It had definitely been weeks and Jason can already feel the effect of just the lightest touches.

Barry shudders, a brief vibration as he chases Jason's lips with another eager kiss. "Too long. Maybe," he pauses to catch his breath. "Maybe you should come home with me on Sunday. Joe always wants us to come over for dinner." And maybe it was time that he finally introduced his boyfriend to his family. Joe and Iris already knew that Barry had someone who made him happy - so maybe it was time that they get to meet Jason in person.

His hands smooth down his back, settling easily on his hips. "I'd like you to."

The very idea makes Jason still beneath Barry's hands, pulling back slightly to look at his boyfriend's face. Eyes searching his for a long moment before he licks his lips. "I...if you're sure."

And part of him feels terrible because it's probably not something he'll ever be able to offer Barry himself.

Barry's smile is pure sunshine as he cradles his face in his hands and kisses Jason slowly. "You make me happier than I've ever been. So I think it's time you meet the people who make me happy." He doesn't care about Jason's family and what he can share with him - it's enough that he can walk into the West house with his head held high and his hand firmly in Jason's to introduce his were boyfriend to the foster family that meant so much to him.

"I don't want to hide what we have anymore," he breathes against his lips.

It's very hard to stay nervous in the face of that smile. Jason finds himself relaxing, leaning forward to settle into the kiss again. "Okay," he says after a few moments. "Okay, yeah, we'll do that, then. As long as you're sure."

Joe and Iris and soon after, Cisco and Caitlin and even Harry. He was done hiding - career aspirations be damned. Jason made him happy and given the way his life had gone since the lightning, it was time that Barry hang on to those small moments of joy for as long as he could.

"Never been more sure of anything in my life," he promises. "But now that we've settled that, I think we had other plans for the night?" Barry's grin is impish as he nips at Jason's lower lip.

Jason laughs, grinning at him. "I might introduce you to Jean-Claude. I think we're leaving Anita out of it, though." Mostly because, one, Anita had actually met Barry and, two, she still didn't react well to the men around her being in gay relationships.

Though leaving Anita out meant leaving Nathaniel out for the time being.

He shoves the thought away, shifting slightly so that he could roll his hips down against Barry's. "Let's leave the family discussions for a time when I'm not trying very hard to show you how much I want you to fuck me."

The roll of his hips earns a startled groan as Barry grips his boyfriend close and kisses him warmly. "Mmh. Now that's a good idea. There's reunion sex to be had." Bed moving, possibly furniture breaking sex.

His fingers skim beneath his shirt, searching out warm skin.

This is a much better choice of 'conversation', so far as Jason's concerned. He breaks the kiss reluctantly, pulling back only long enough to reach down and pull his shirt off over his head. He drops it to the side, wrapping hi arms around Barry's shoulders again as he leans forward, back into that warm kiss.

Barry groans into the kiss, wrapping his arms around bare skin and pulling him in close. It's funny how quickly the rest of the world falls away when they're together like this. No vampire politics, no metahuman issues. Just the two of them.

He's content to simply kiss and stroke bare skin, happily making out on the couch before they move to the bedroom.

It's always struck Jason as a little hilarious that the 'fastest man in the world' really loves taking things slow when it comes to so many other things. Especially seems to enjoy it when it's going to drive Jason to fucking distraction. Which is right about now.

His hands move up into Barry's hair, brushing his fingers through the strands and tugging lightly on them.

Barry wants to draw out these moments with Jason, given how few they seem to get most weeks. And yes, maybe he likes that it makes Jason restless and impatient. Just a little.

The tug in his hair gets a quick indrawn breath and a smile as he breaks the kiss. "Bed? Or are we not moving?"

Most of the time, Jason is very patient. But after so long not having much time together? Well, his patience is a lot more difficult to come by.

He hums in reply to the question. "Well, I don't have anything out here. Which doesn't mean we can't do a lot of stuff." Punctuated by Jason shifting his hips again, rocking down against Barry, his own cock a hard, hot line through his jeans.

Seriously. The things Jason can do with just a hip roll. Barry groans into his neck and there's a rush of wind as he zips into the bedroom and back again. A bottle of lube drops to the pillow beside him and he grins up at Jason. "There. Think that problem's solved. Now let's deal with the one where you're wearing pants and shouldn't be."

Jason can't help but laugh, shaking his head at Barry as he pulls away, standing up so that he can undo his belt and unbutton his jeans. "What? You couldn't have just done THAT as well while you were doing your speedster thing?"

All said with a wink as he begins pushing his jeans down over his hips. "Of course, you realize that makes you really overdressed."

"And speed through my favorite part? No way." He leans in to kiss a freshly exposed hip bone before shifting to wriggle out of the last of his clothes.

With a grin, Barry takes Jason's hands, tugging him back to the couch and lingering over a warm kiss.

It gets another laugh out of Jason as he kicks his jeans away, allowing himself to be tugged before falling into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Barry's shoulders to hold him close.

He's missed the warmth of Jason's laugh and it makes Barry laugh into the kiss as well, hands tracing the long lines of Jason's back before settling at his hips and drifting down to cup his ass firmly. Lips skim along his jaw, nipping as he goes, moving down his neck.

So maybe he's done drawing things out.
