TWISTED FAIRY TALES

CLUB id is decked out in its Fairy Tale finery tonight. The bouncers at the door are dressed in playing card themed, Alice in Wonderland armor. Everyone who passes through the doors is given a chance to pull a wristband from a basin full of them. They are every shade of the rainbow and printed on each one is the name of a character from a fairy tale or nursery rhyme.

Once the wristband is attached to the wrist, a mental and emotional shift takes place. Usual habits and mannerisms are over-written by the identity – slightly twisted – of whichever character’s name is chosen. In some cases, even one’s physical form is altered.

All rooms are open to guests as usual and the grand front room is dressed as an enchanted forest. Moonlight shimmers through the leaves of trees that stretch well past what the roof should allow. The ground underfoot is soft and smells of sweet clover and grass. Club staff mingle among the guests offering tiny frosted cookies with candy letters inviting Eat Me and little bottles with tags that say Drink Me, the effects of which can range from a general libido enhancer to an overwhelming, targeted boost of desire for one specific act.
