Some say love can conquer all ills and cure all broken people - the jury is still out on that, but enough people subscribe to the notion that it may have some merit. With the right affection behind it, can it be the elixir to heal traumas or mend angst? For this meme, it can be. No matter what your what your problem is, from daddy issues to being mind controlled to hating all humans or being just a jerk, all you need is healing from the right person. All in all? This is a shameless meme playing with the idea of "cured by love." Love it or hate it, it's prevalent in fiction, both fan and published. And sometimes, no lie, you just want to play it and not be judge for the pure shlock you know it to be. Here is the place; now is the time. However, you don't have to go for unrealistic escapism. One partner trying to help the other through trauma is not an easy task, and there are bound to be setbacks, resistance, and hurt feelings. And what if BOTH partners are a little bit broken? Can they survive together, or will they bring each other down? how to play - Comment with your character and preferences. Feel free to talk about your character's problems. The world might be reeling from Moriarty's wildly successful staged murder-suicide, but Jim's triumphant march home was utterly anticlimactic. He had stood up, dusted himself off, messaged Jack to pick him up at the loading dock, they drove home and he washed the fake blood out of his hair.

Less than twenty minutes after the grand finale to the Great Game, Jim emerged from the bathroom still damp from the shower, wearing nothing but a towel. He stood there contemplatively, eyes on his loyal sniper, considering what to do next. There were infinite possibilities, of course, but Moriarty had to make sure he picked something interesting enough to keep them both properly entertained. Murder, mayhem, danger, avarice, blackmail, but London had been played out.

Usually, Michael didn't sleep. There was usually too much for him to do, and it wasn't like he actually needed to sleep, so, usually, he went for a long, long, long time without it. Every now and again though, he'd just feel the urge to lie down and have a good nap. Why, he couldn't say, and he didn't know why the urge felt so..wistful, so heartbreakingly nostalgic. But, since the first time he'd indulged himself and had a small rest went well (he actually felt a bit refreshed afterwards), he tried to have a nap whenever the urge grabbed him and he could spare a few minutes.

Today though, his dreams had been nothing but pleasant. He'd been floating overhead, unable to do anything as Enoch and..someone he didn't recognize, even though he looked so familiar fought each other, screaming, yelling, and crying with each blow, unaware that their battle was destroying the world's core near them. Of course, he tried to call out, tried to save Enoch and this unknown man, but they could not hear him. Instead of stopping, Enoch punched out the man's heart, creating a bloody, empty hole in his chest (similar to..Force's chest), and a moment later, the man shattered Enoch's soul into seventy two pieces. The battle was over, but no one was happy, the world was destroyed, and he was crying, screaming like he'd lost everything-

And then he'd woke up in his bed in a thick, cold sweat, his long hair a complete and utter mess, and his grip on the blankets way too tight. It took him a few long, shuddery sighs to loosen the grip on his blankets as he mentally worked his way through that dream. What on Earth had that been? Something from the past? Something born from his mind? But, then, who was that familiar man? And why had he been screaming for him too?

Sadly, Michael couldn't come up with any answers, even though he lied in bed for a good long while as his body slowly, slightly relaxed, ignoring the cold sweat on him. Eventually though, he managed to sit up so that he could reach for his pants, pull out his phone, and text Rose. Perhaps it was selfish to message him like this, but..he needed someone to talk to right now. And Rose certainly lived up to his namesake-he was a beautiful, endearing, sweet flower that brightened everyone and everything around it. Perhaps..he could help.

'I am sorry to bother you when you are busy, Rose, but could you visit my apartment whenever you get a moment? I could use some company right now. I've had a terrifying, puzzling dream, and it has left me rather shaken.'

And with that text sent, Michael would put his phone back before slowly getting out of bed and changing out of his sweaty pajamas so that he could put on his usual suit. Nevermind the fact that he didn't put his sweaty hair up. He..didn't quite feel up to it at the moment. However, whenever Rose arrived, he'd let him in with a tiny, warm smile.

A terrifying, puzzling dream. Rose wondered what that was like. After all, golems had no need for sleep. They were created to work, 24/7. But a terrifying, puzzling dream... That sounded like it was probably uncomfortable. If he ever slept, he hoped he didn't have terrifying and puzzling dreams. He hoped he'd dream of flowers. But then, flowers usually filled his mind during every hour of every day... With a few exceptions. He often found himself thinking about Michael. During those times he'd look at the ring he'd been given. Sometimes he'd gently touch it, though he was honestly afraid to break it, so he was always careful.

Right now though, his mind was full of Michael and only Michael. No flowers, no concern for the ring that he still wore as a wedding band even though Michael had explained the concept of marriage to him. Just Michael.

After all, he'd called him. He'd called him. Out of everyone he could call, he called him. Something about that made him happy. Almost giddy. Though he should try to be serious... After all, the reason why Michael had called was no laughing matter. He needed his company. And Rose was all too willing to give it.

So he'd changed his direction, left work to the rest of the Adamo, and headed towards where his creator was.

When he arrived and was let in, a touch of concern appeared on his face. The suit was the same, but for some reason, the other looked pale to him, and his hair... It wasn't right. Sure, he could wear it down- Rose wore his hair down all the time- but this was different... This was dishevelment. As soon as the door closed behind him, the golem reached out, running his fingers through golden strands of hair, gently working through it to straighten it out.

"Do you... Need to talk?"

But he admires Daenerys. After everything, she's still so strong. So full of passion it makes Ragnar yearn to be his younger self. ]

Jace couldn't get his fa-no, Valentine. He didn't have a father. He had...he didn't know what it was he had, but it wasn't a father. Or family. Alec had made that very clear. And Clary...he couldn't even think of her right now. He couldn't get any of it out of his head. His father had been there and then was gone and Valentine had said-Jace got up from his bed and went back to the training dummy. He hadn't left his room. He couldn't sleep. He hadn't spoken to anyone since his argument with Alec.

Even Clary had disappeared and he didn't blame her. She knew. But she had her own problems to deal with. No one had come looking for him. Not even Maryse.

He started with the same mindless patterns he'd been taught as a child, striking harder and faster until the pain subsided to a dull ache. He'd wrapped his hands, but that had been sometimes yesterday morning and he'd lost count.

Some part of him was starting to think he should have gone with Valentine, but then he remembered Valentine wasn't the man he remembered and he wasn't Jace Wayland. But it had become a confusing pattern of thoughts that always ended with being unable to breathe. And he didn't dare scream. Not that he really believed anyone would come running.

He had no one, not even a memory of someone.

His father was right. He was weak. There was something terribly wrong with him.

Finding himself standing in the bathroom, pealing the tape off his hands and turning them over under the cool water, Jace didn't dare look at himself in the mirror. It was already cracked and broken, a physical manifestation of what he was feeling inside.

Once, he might have said good person, but that isn't true. Giorno's reformation of Passione, and by extension, the entire mafia, means that while its members are most certainly not legal, they are good. Or at least, they enforce good, which is all that truly matters. They target those who prey upon children; they control the drug trade with an iron fist, making sure they sell only to those who can safely consume; they work to make Italy a place to be proud of.

But they none of them are healthy. Whole. Everyone has a story, everyone has some bits of their past they're trying to escape from. Even Polnareff, fifteen years older than his don, has his own traumas-- but they're safely locked away, to be dealt with only occasionally.

Giorno, though . . .

The thing is, he's only fifteen. You don't remember that, when you're faced with him. You see the cold gaze and feel the calculating mind at work, and you don't remember that this is a boy, not a man. A boy who has been through too much, who knows what he's doing, who runs Passione far better than his predecessor-- but a boy nonetheless. And maybe he'll grow colder as he gets older, maybe he'll learn to tuck it all away even better-- but for now, he's only fifteen, and Polnareff remembers being that age. It's a hellish age, and that's without all the pressures that Giorno faces.

They're in the turtle (of course they are, because Giorno isn't so rude as to not come in when he wants to talk). It's late, so late that most everyone is asleep-- except for them. They're not drunk, but if they keep drinking, they're going to teeter over the edge into it. And Polnareff waits, and watches, because Giorno didn't just come here with no purpose.]
