[ Kotetsu is standing atop the highest part of play place (don't ask how he managed to get all the way up there without falling and breaking his neck) a bed sheet cape around his neck and an old cheap domino mask from last year's Halloween on his face.

He is clearly the vigilant defender of this fair play place city, keeping a careful eye out on the kids citizens below, watching for any evil doers who might be doing evil things. ]

[ Loki knows this game, or at least one like it, he's played it a few dozen times with his brother and aforementioned brother's friends. Usually he gets stuck being the villain, he used to get to be a dragon till he accidentally set fire to Fandral's hair and had yet to be forgiven for it. He pops up, in his usual dress-- which is quite unusual even for a ten year old, honestly-- and points an accusing finger. ]

You've fallen into my trap! [ What trap, he doesn't know, but he'll make something up soon enough. ]

[ Have you ever seen someone look so grumpy while sitting in a ballpit? It should be impossible. Most people can't stop smiling when they jump in one. This kid though just looks like the world is coming to an end or something. Just because he's in the ballpit. ]

[ So this little kid with an oversized beanie somehow managed to collect each of the Hotwheels cars that came with the Happy meals. They're spread out around him and he takes turns with each one moving them around and making motor noises.

...Until one of them crashes into your foot!. ]

[Chihiro looks around, looks down, and...oh. Little toy car.

She looks at first a bit perplexed, and then her mind catches up to what she's just wandered into. The girl beams as an idea strikes, and then hastily pulls out a sparkly pink toy cell phone she'd gotten out of her Happy Meal.] H-Here! You can call them on this!

[ There was a dozen or so kinds of mischief a young trickster could resort to in a place like this. Currently he had seated himself at the edge of the ballpit, quietly brushing stripes of blue paint against the balls and then chucking them in toward the middle, leaving any who dared dive in quiet spotted. It wasn't his most ingenious plan, but what could one really expect from a ten year old? At least, for the most part, it was rather harmless.

Loki lets out a little chuckle watching the other children milling about, awaiting his next victim. ]

[...Chihiro is decidedly reluctant to give up her shoes, especially since there are no soot balls here to look after them.

But, the playground is too tempting, and the smell of french fries too beguiling. The sneakers will be left, and then Chihiro is off and running towards the ball pit.] Woohoooo!

[She jumps in feet first, sending colored spheres flying everywhere. Hope she doesn't hit anyone!

Later on, the girl will be stuffing her face with french fries and chicken nuggets. Her parents like her to eat healthy, but they're not here, and delicious fast food goodness is. She hasn't had food like this since before the move.]

[Poor Chihiro wasn't aware when she jumped into the ball pit. Underneath those colorful orbs is a small 10 year old boy laying in wait. When he notices the shift he moves. He jumps out from behind the girl letting out his most fierce, if not squeaky, roar.]

[She doesn't like the noise, or the crowds of other children. Hel mostly just stands and watches them run around like rabid animals. When her brothers arrive, she may put on a different front and go exploring in the plastic tubes. Unwilling to be the one left behind.]

Harry Potter ~ Harry Potter ~ just turned 10

[Dudley was already lost in the maze of tubes, probably stuck, actually, if Harry was any judge of these things. He had no idea how he'd been allowed to come along. It was a bunch of Dudley's friends, and Aunt Petunia couldn't get ahold of Mrs. Figg in time to pawn Harry off.

Eyes wide, he stood near the entrance to the ball pit. He'd seen them before, but he'd never been in one. A little girl that was already inside stuck her tongue out at him, and he smirked. He'd lost sight of his cousin's nasty mates, so he thought maybe, just maybe the coast was clear. He climbed in, and immediately tumbled backwards, hand going automatically to his face to hold his glasses in place as he flailed.]

[Ozma is standing just at the edge of the ballpit. She looks rather confused at the sight of the other children diving in. She spots Harry and addresses him.]

Excuse me, what is the purpose of this place?

[Who cares about the paths people already tread on? Akira wants the wilder, more unexplored areas of the playzone. He's on the exterior of it, scaling each nook and plastic hand-hold he can find.]

[If there's no adults there to stop him and try and tell him it's somehow 'unsafe' to do things he's really good at, Dick knows exactly what to do.

Climbing up the outside of the play area's framework, Dick does a handstand on the narrow beam at the top and starts walking along it on his hands]

[ Someone did something to piss little Shizuo off. It could have been anything. Unfortunately for the little guy he had a hair trigger temper, super human strength, and the tendency to have momentary rage blackouts during which he tended to cause large amounts of destruction.

This time the big cubby shelves that housed the shoes suffered his wrath. He picked it up, and through the window it went. Luckily no one was hurt. Unluckily there were no more shoes now. ]

[...oh, no you didn't. Chihiro loves her shoes. The girl lets out a shriek at the sound of the cubbys crashing through the window, looking around wildly until she spots the broken glass and the overturned shelves.]

...m-my shoes! [She knew this would happen if she left them somewhere. Cue scurrying over to the shelves and then...stumbling to a stop because broken glass, bare feet, oh dear.]

[What could possibly be better than free junk food and a bottomless ball pit? Free junk food in a bottomless ball pit, obviously! Which is why this dinosaur just grabbed a couple of clawfuls of chicken nuggets and is now industriously burying them one by one. He doesn't mean to hit any onlookers with stray plastic balls in the process, but given how many he's kicking up it's pretty much inevitable.]

[Mary is off in a corner somewhere, watching the other children play. Her mouth is formed into a deep frown. She doesn't want to be here in this plastic wonderland. She wants to be out in the fresh air. In her garden.]

Eponine is in the ball pool too. Unlike Mary, she looks completely unkempt. Her long brown hair is straggling out of her pony tail, her face is streaked with dirt and her clothes are stained. But unlike Mary, Eponine looks like she's in paradise. After her family's fortunes changed, Eponine learned how to rough it quickly, and she's having fun in the rough and tumble of the ball pool whilst her dad goes on the nick.

Currently, she's chucking balls at the other kids. She's a bit of a bully, and she's hungry now. She's not had any food all day, and the burgers smell delicious. She's asking for money, but none of the kids have any, no matter how hard she pelts them. And then Eponine spots Mary in her pretty posh clothes. She'll have a pound. Eponine chucks a plastic ball at Mary.

[He was supposed to go looking for his younger brother who got lost somewhere in the ballpit. Except, he got distracted when he noted he very top of the crazy swirling side was unmanned. Like a true future politician, Edgar claimed it for himself, standing at the entryway with his arms folded and barring anyone to step beyond him with a small, outstretched hand.]

Halt! This is my land. Only pretty girls are allowed past this point!

And right now this little monster is perched on top of one of the cargo nets with a small stockpile of plastic balls from the ballpit.

Anyone who comes within range is completely likely to get beaned by one of said balls. His aim is actually quite good.]
